I had a breast reduction two weeks ago. I’ve gone from a 34GG/H to a 34D.

Crack on with any questions!

I couldn’t shower properly for two weeks because of the tape. I just strip washed and baby wiped under my arms. I used shower below my chest line and had baths.

It’s interesting, as somebody very confident about their fashion sense and the way they look, since deciding to have the operation I actually hate my bust and I felt very dowdy ever since

Bigtitsbetty · 29/10/2022 11:22

I’ve not bought any new clothes since apart from a dress for a funeral but I’ve bought a fair bit from Vinted.

I’ve bought lots of work clothes and they’re all a lot less frumpy, body con skirts and tighter tops. I feel so much slimmer than before.

Yeah I think that’s a huge part of it @Bigtitsbetty i look much fatter than I actually am … really.. cause all you can see is these huge boobs, I hate being in photos because it’s the first thing I see, so it’s good to hear that you feel slimmer.

Madagascary · 29/10/2022 15:49

Oh I’m so pleased for you, interesting losing a bust even though doesn’t take a weight off makes you look so much more slim! Starting to worry about recovery now and a bit sleepless.

Madagascary · 25/11/2022 03:27

Psst. It’s me! I’m all done.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 25/11/2022 07:02

Singletrackmind · 25/11/2022 07:24

Madagascary · 25/11/2022 08:25

Bigtitsbetty · 25/11/2022 15:08

Singletrackmind · 25/11/2022 15:57

6lbs … can’t remember what size you said you were 🧐

Madagascary · 28/11/2022 17:23

Yup. 5.5 lbs! 2.5 kg. Can’t believe it.

Itsybitsytitsy · 28/11/2022 20:45

Wow, what cup size were you? Mine are a JJ and feel so heavy. 😕

Madagascary · 29/11/2022 05:04

Hmm. At least an F
everyone is right , who says it’s not really pain, it tweaks a bit if you pull a stitch, but it feels like a pressure, or for me at felt like quite bad sunburn, and youre wearing tight clothes on too.
no drains. Overnight in lovely hospital with bacon sandwiches.

Singletrackmind · 29/11/2022 08:13

It’s the most literal expression of ‘taking the weight off’ then! Which is honestly the thing I want the most … counting down to surgeon no 2 consult in Jan, fingers crossed I like them!

Singletrackmind · 29/11/2022 08:14

Ps.. thx for updates - it massively helpful & encouraging 🙌

Madagascary · 29/11/2022 11:44

No problem, I found this thread very helpful. Thanks @Bigtitsbetty !

Just been to the dressing change and everything is doing really well. A couple of little blood spots in my boobs an attractive yellow colour.
I would definitely advise against mothers of young children having this done, unless the toddlers et cetera went to their grandparents for a week.

Because, although you’re okay, you’re a bit addled from morphine or painkiller and you really can’t move your hands beyond the T-Rex hands someone mentioned earlier in the thread

Skidamarinkadinkadink · 02/12/2022 14:30

Just in hospital after my op this morning. So far so good!

Madagascary · 02/12/2022 16:49

Congrats! Did it all go wel?
How much off? 😀

Martinisarebetterdirty · 02/12/2022 18:24

Congratulations! What a lovely early Christmas present for you! Hope you’re ok.

SandraTeaspoon · 03/12/2022 13:11

Had anyone had it done at a Scottish surgery and could they recommend one?
