I had a breast reduction two weeks ago. I’ve gone from a 34GG/H to a 34D.

Crack on with any questions!

Tape is off! New tape on but only on incisions. It wasn’t too bad but I am very bruised and swollen under my arms. Healing nicely and will “fluff up” over the next few weeks / months as they settle down. I feel weirdly unsupported now I just have a compression bra on and not the tape, did anyone else feel this? Wondering if I should size down (obviously didn’t notice this until I’d left so will drop an email to ask just wondering if any other experience of this?)
let us know how you get on @Singletrackmind and how you are feeling @Heartfullofcheese ?

Madagascary · 07/08/2023 14:55

Hi Martini I think that your point I abandoned the post surgery bras and went onto the various ones I’ve linked further down

weirdly I just was tidying my bedroom storage and found the one bra I kept to just have. Look fgs !! 😂😂

Madagascary · 07/08/2023 14:56

Also, don’t worry that the size and shape doesn’t look right. I remember my right one look like it was going back under my arm even his latest was it the four months, or the five month check up?

Madagascary · 07/08/2023 15:02

Found an even better angle. All that was tit. And it obviously all pushed up to my décolleté kinda area.

do keep an old bra. It’s quite amazing

Madagascary · 07/08/2023 15:04

Someone recommended the next brand zip up the front racer back sports bras. They were brilliant and I still use them for the gym now.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 07/08/2023 15:27

Ah brilliant thank you, I was specifically told to keep these ones for four weeks and then I can go to sports bras, I have that tab you linked open 😂
Funnily enough I cleared my old bras out over the weekend (packed the decent ones up for African charities) and put one to the side to keep - looks enormous!

Bigtitsbetty · 07/08/2023 15:45

I have one bra from the olden days. I try it periodically and add socks until it’s full. I got 10 pairs in last time.

Loving the bra chat 😁 I have the Asda post surgery ones that I’ve seen recommended but just a bit concerned that they won’t be as supportive as the Lipoelastic one I’m wearing.

… ok then tape off and replaced, all healing fine says the nurse. Phew was worried about my right side but she said the left actually looks more bruised 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine are much softer than they were but still have that ‘high/ hard’ thing going on. It’s a bit like period drama boobs in one of those corsets 😂How long does this last? It looks ok in clothes but is a bit freaky if you look at them in the wild! Nurse also took pics .. not pretty right now 😬

how you doing @Heartfullofcheese ?

Madagascary · 07/08/2023 16:37

LOLOL at ten pairs of socks
I can't remember the acutal tit being bruised because the lipo was worse. I hope all of you are feeling you are through ' the worst'.

Its just T REX hands from now on in. When i went back to work after two weeks I had forgotten the effect of fire doors - those buggers are heavy, so if that is you, do go through backwards if it doesn't make you look nuts

MorrisZapp · 07/08/2023 18:08

Love the empty bra! Hilarious!

Crikeyalmighty · 07/08/2023 18:17

If I win the lottery - it's on my list!! Mine have given me neck pain for years

Heartfullofcheese · 07/08/2023 19:10

This thread has been such a life line - thank you everyone! Really helped when I was terrified on Friday too.
Drains are out and that has made such a difference. I no longer feel like an invalid.
I am so happy I did this. People just don’t realise but I feel like I’ve been set free.
Downside- I feel like my fat tummy is very noticeable now but I also realise that I’m bloated post surgery. Plus I will be able to exercise better.

I am no fan of credit, but when you see the credit options hospitals offer, and we know the transformation, this operation can achieve I would urge you to consider it

Madagascary · 07/08/2023 22:11

Totally agree about stomach.

Mine is not perfect.

However since I have had the operation at the start of July, I employed a personal trainer for half-hour sessions, guiding me around the gym and I can really see the transformation in my shoulders and my arms. All the areas I would not show when I had big tits.

I agree this is transformative

Madagascary · 07/08/2023 22:15

Sorry. That reads wrong. Had op in November It’s a bit like giving up smoking, once you’ve done that if you are worried about putting on weight afterwards you can deal with it.

Same thing with exercise it is so much easier to exercise with small tits rather than big Wangers flapping about.

Singletrackmind · 07/08/2023 22:17

@Heartfullofcheese ah that will feel so much better! And yes - we totally get it.
The post surgery bloat is a thing so don’t stress it… that will go down, mine has over the last day or so.
In the meantime we have bum barge door opening and TRex hand techniques to be practicing 😂priceless😂

Heartfullofcheese · 09/08/2023 10:58

At 5 days I’m finding there’s a gap between what I can/want to do and am allowed to do.
Very little pain. Hopefully all is healing well - dressings off Friday and we shall see.
Hope everyone is enjoying their small tits 😀

Singletrackmind · 09/08/2023 13:49

@Heartfullofcheese great to hear you are doing so well! So yes, I think you have to really careful at this point and resist the urge to do too much. I did a bit of gentle walking for about 30 mins and just pottered on day 5. Today day 8, I've done 7K which obv isn't miles but is treble the time out walking. Every day is different and you want it to all go in the right direction.

Small tits though ... I can breathe, it's bloody marvellous 😃

Madagascary · 09/08/2023 14:18

Do you feel the lack of bounce when you go downstairs?

have you noticed when you go to cross your arms it’s like WOAH

Martinisarebetterdirty · 09/08/2023 15:14

Definite lack of bounce! Big win was putting support socks on and not having to move a tit out of the way to do it! It’s very hot in these support socks though.

Singletrackmind · 09/08/2023 15:41

Yes I can actually cross my arms under my boobs 😁... and right now they aren't bouncing anywhere in this compression number. Plus still quite high/ hard. @Madagascary remember you saying the effects of lipo were the most sore, I'm assuming that's what is keeping my sides feeling a bit tender and swollen. How long did that take to subside?

Singletrackmind · 09/08/2023 15:42

@Martinisarebetterdirty I binned those socks as soon as I got home!

Martinisarebetterdirty · 09/08/2023 15:50

You binned them? I’ve been told to wear for two weeks!! Hottest day for ages and am in bloody compression socks and jeans so people don’t see them 😂
mine have gone hard too now I’ve had the main dressing off, also now spectacular colours.

Heartfullofcheese · 09/08/2023 16:18

I’m excited for rainbow coloured boobs 😂 mine feel very tight and sore but there’s no movement when I walk - very odd.
I was allowed the compression socks off the day I left the hospital too. I had horrible inflating things overnight too which were AWFUL.
I’ve had a little walk, was great to get outside. Hopefully it’ll help me sleep.

Singletrackmind · 09/08/2023 16:34

So yes, mostly yellow now, but still bits purple lower boobs at the moment, pretty it ain't ...!! Gearing up for my first solo tape change when I have my shower tonight .. mildly panicked but shit I'm gonna have to get used to this.

I also had those inflating legs things in the hospital jeeezz... they were going up and down every single minute ... which is why I didn't get any bloody sleep. Anyhow, it does seem advice varies a lot, but I figured as long as you are reasonably active then the blooming socks can go 😁
