I wish I'd witnessed Wigan pier rave days!

Blowtheroofoff. I love Northern Soul. It felt like whichever club you were in, the DJ would always throw a few tunes on. In fact, and this is absolutely true I was dancing in my kitchen the Do I Love You (Indeed I do) by Frank Wilson only last night.

Wigan Pier rave days were a lot of fun.

Is there a pier in Wigan?

The pier is a music hall joke. There is a little landing jetty on the canal which comedians joked was ‘Wigan Pier.’

Wigan North Western - I know from the mainline and I always think well I wonder what the other station in Wigan is called, then?

I genuinely cook from scratch. Everybody in my family does. We were brought up watching the women in our family cook.
