Really interesting thread, thank you OP. My hair is naturally very curly and I've always given into straightening it (largely because of how short it looks when I've left it naturally) now genuinely considering leaving it natural and seeing if I can work out how to tame the curls!

Lots of gorgeous and inspiring pictures in this thread, I never knew locs were so versatile. I love the idea of the hair cuddling each other, I wish my hair was cuddly 😁
