I’m sorry to read this. Are there other alcoholics in your family?

My dr knows, I don't drive so the dvla was never an issue.

How long- when I look back on it now I've never had a healthy relationship with alcohol. But the last five years on and off have been the worse.

Yes I do have a partner and son

I realised when I broke my ankle falling down stairs drunk

Yes, there are other alcoholics in my family, both my grandfathers and two of my uncles.

My dad is a functioning alcoholic and often has a weird smell. It's not the smell of alcohol itself, I read online it might be the smell of ketosis. Kind of sweet? Have you noticed this smell?

I haven't but I'm guessing you don't necessarily smell it on ur self. Some of my friends do know

Do you ever get hungover? I can only think that alcoholics don’t, because I just couldn’t possibly drink the next day if I’m hungover.

When things are at the worse I have drank in the morning. And I get nasty hangovers
