Yes I imagine so, there might be a “reading day” or other day when the court doesn’t sit for whatever reason.

Fife social media is interesting. Everyone I know is pro-Sandie. (I'm talking about Fife and - just over the county line - Kinross.)

The negative comments I see attached to articles on FB don't appear to come from Fifers.

I'll add that I had an appointment at the Vic the day after the original verdict and a newspaper front page which celebrated it as a win for Sandie was very prominently displayed in the hospital shop.

I said on one of the previous threads that I had to have a procedure at Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline, and one of the nurses there asked me about some of the nonsense that was going on in Fife schools. (I still had 'teacher' down as my profession at the time and a doctor had asked whether I needed a sick note.)

She had children in a Fife high school and the Dunfermline Press had carried an article about two girls demanding gender neutral toilets. One was a 'trans boy'; the other was 'non-binary'.

The trans boy complained that she got dysphoria in the girls' toilets and said that she couldn't use boys' toilets because knowing that she wasn't the same as the boys would trigger her dysphoria.

The nurse made sure that no one else could hear the conversation because she didn't want to get into trouble.

Thank you for all your hard work @nauticant , you and the other thread wranglers are the only way I can keep up with these cases (I do support TT as well but I need the explainers here, and the laughs!).

I don’t think I made it as far as this thread. I clearly don’t have Nauti’s attention span! But I still want to know what happens in this next tranche.

I definitely think it will be possible to treat the next bit as a standalone part of the series @AMansAManForAllThat- should be interesting and the challenge to the RCN is long overdue.

I'm having issues with my own union in that I suspect they will withdraw support due to my known GC beliefs but the issue I need their help with is not in itself anything to do with GC beliefs. So I'll be watching this with interest as I think it will make a big difference going forward if she succeeds.

@nauticant you could just rename threads as "sandie peggie thread number x" going forward and we'd all know what its about?

Agree. Also I remember when the first tribunal was in the news every day and the threads were very busy, people uninterested were getting upset that SP thread was always in the trending list. I think one thread for all her cases keeps it from causing headaches all round.

Surely Big Sond should have done his own homework? He must surely be on thin ice, what with his AI and what - a dozen mistakes in his judgement? Not to mention being happy with Betheodore bragging that he'd deliberately attend a female patient, who'd specified a female doctor. And not forgetting the photoshopped "record" of an incident and Big Sond somehow managed to call him reliable.

I emailed the ET service to ask how to apply for online access to the RCN tribunal. The response was:

An Operational Note will be issued in advance of the hearing, advising members of the public of the process for applying for remote access and the relevant application deadline. Please submit your application in accordance with those instructions.

I can't remember where the operational note in advance of the Fife hearing was published. Can anyone else shed light please?

Agree Sinner. I was reminded of the judge who called Mary Archer fragrant. There’s none so blind…

I've never been close enough to sniff Mary Archer (and have no particular wish to be). Perhaps she wears lovely perfum and really is fragrant.

So, the judge got close enough to her to sniff her perfume (a prior relationship?) or it was so strong/she wore so much he could smell it when she was in the witness box?
