Puberty blockers reversible according to them

Amnesty are a bunch of cunts.

They don't know what they're talking about.

They came out as woman hating misogynists a number of years ago when they declared sex was a human right

This is not a surprise

I assume they didn't read the judgement! They're just so confident they're right. The way that Stonewall and Mermaids were so confident they were right that they didn't prepare properly for the court case, and the Tavistock were so confident they were right that they didn't prepare either. They're all talking to each other in their little woke bubbles and blocking anyone who asks them inconveniently logical questions, and they literally don't know how reality works any more.

Amnesty may have to go under. Lots of organisations may have to go under. But I think there are enough people who are in touch with reality that eventually they all will get swept away by the tide.

They missed important parts of the judgement.

That the drugs don't have known long term consequences and are thus experimental.

That under 16s cannot consent to treatment they can't understand the implications of, gillick competence is only for things where they can appreciate the consequences.

That the Tavistock failed to collect data which a reasonable person would have expected.

Bit embarrassing for Amnesty and Liberty if you ask me.

The judgement was an independent, objective legal assessment of the evidence submitted by the Tavistock.

It puts to bed the whole 'they're just a reversible pause button' argument. That door's closed. It's gone. Done. Finished. The ship has sailed. It's a dead parrot.

I wonder if they’ll backpedal - this is a high court judgement not some decision made on a whim. The arguments are the usual emotive activist stuff rather than fact or even balance

I'm actually quite surprised. Used to work for them, aeons ago, when they still concerned themselves with small matters like the death penalty and prison camps in China..

I see Amnesty,too, are asking for money "During these uncertain times".

Luckily, the Court of Protection added certainty to at least one obscured corner yesterday. Something Amnesty should surely welcome?
