Have just grassed you up for banning them @MNHQ

They said "Mumsnet you left us no choice"

I think you are supposed to hang your heads in shame Grin

I never get how they think that their translation of such emails will ever be accepted as sensible by anyone.

They are adults, they aren't stupid. How do they get themselves so wound up that they post such ridiculousness?

spontaneousgiventime · 06/05/2018 11:24

Oh Gawd, the foot stamping has gone into overdrive. Keep going Helen, you're always good for a laugh.

Because they need to justify their own flawed reasoning and decision making. Decisions they made about their own children. They want enforce this faulty logic on all other parents and their children.

Mumsnet were extremely polite there. 'We've temp suspended your account, if that's ok'. 'We're sure a little chat will sort things out'.

Stasi still enraged.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 06/05/2018 11:37

Ah! I neglected to remember the specific individual involved!

My error! Batshit behaviour now understood!

Waddlelikeapenguin · 06/05/2018 11:38

MNHQ are so polite Grin

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 06/05/2018 11:50

We and @MNHQ are being harassed because we will not accept that the decisions that some parents make for their children are reasonable.

MN is most famous for the board 'Am I Being Unreasonable?'

Yet we are being targetted because some of us do NOT believe the decisions of these parents who allow their children to take puberty blockers, hormones and undergo genital surgery are reasonable decisions. Quite the opposite.

We are being targetted because we disagree with the decisions of these parents.

We are being called bigots because we disagree with the decisions of these parents.

These parents want their decisions and their decisions alone to the only acceptable decisions to make in these circumstances. They want to impose their decision making on us and they want to prevent us talking about it.

Haha u reprorted me on a another account and this happened to me. Mua ha ha

PermissionToSpeakSir · 06/05/2018 12:03

I am glad @MNHQ have done that.

I don't know if they mentioned it on any threads to say they were going to suspend that account and I think that goady poster would have been better off keeping quiet to deal with behind the scenes rather then screenshot their own username.

It makes MN look better for it. Shifts the balance of power back.

Pratchet · 06/05/2018 12:07

They were given enough rope to hang themselves.

BarrackerBarmer · 06/05/2018 12:10

At some point perhaps the TRAs may realise that you can't stop people thinking for themselves.
They are fighting such a losing battle.
Their best case scenario is to scare a large enough proportion of the population into lying for them.

No one is ever going to believe this nonsense. People will fall into groups: those who will pretend and lie/ those who won't.

Sex is never ever going to go away. It will always be present, glaringly obvious and impossible to ignore, contradicting every claim gender tries to make.

What a stupid battle to pick.

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 06/05/2018 12:15

My 11.34 post above is being lobbied for removal by a TRA on twitter. Saying it is transphobic. How can anyone seriously argue that it is transphobic?

It is factually accurate, and those facts can be checked by referencing the Susie Green TED Talk

The arrogance of these people trying to shut us up about subjects they publicly talk about is breathtaking.

Assigned It's because the want it couched in obfuscating language. Describing things in plain English sheds too much light.

DarthArts · 06/05/2018 12:49

What's with all the passive aggressive hearts?

It just looks silly.

Well tbh the whole account looks silly quite frankly.

GenderApostate · 06/05/2018 12:51

Mimmymoominmama is utterly deranged, actually I think that I’ve just insulted the lovely, peace loving moomins by association 😉

Popchyk · 06/05/2018 12:54

The "you left us no choice" thing is a threat.

Dozens of West Yorkshire coppers will be jumping into their patrol cars as we speak.

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 06/05/2018 12:57

The lastest one is just odd. It's a quote from the letter to the Guardian from the group of transexuals last week and a comment repeating part of the quote.

Is Mumsnet being demanded to censor letters printed in the Guardian now? Has anyone told the Guardian?

Fecking eejit

Oh that was my post. Squeal. Famous at last.

To be honest, I'm not sure that they realised I was quoting The Guardian. I presume they thought that those were my words.

Folks y'all : the quotation marks (" " < these things) in a sentence indicate that you are quoting something else.

GenderApostate · 06/05/2018 13:13

Helen really isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer, she and ghouliana can’t have much going on in their lives, so much time for frenzied frothing!

TERFragetteCity · 06/05/2018 13:14

Does anyone know who we would contact to make a complaint about a woman who takes her child abroad for castration? This is getting silly and it seems to be to be a cry for help. Which I am more than happy to get involved with.

Would it be her local police force?

Xenophile · 06/05/2018 13:26

Her local police force is the one she uses to personally enforce action against anyone she believes is committing wrongthink or wrongspeak.

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 06/05/2018 13:29

Well they can't be that clever if they think they were suspended for 'noo reason' rather than the reason MNHQ gave...in the actual email

And that whole section 28 palaver

TERFragetteCity · 06/05/2018 13:33

Her local police force is the one she uses to personally enforce action against anyone she believes is committing wrongthink or wrongspeak.

So who is above them? Would we have to first put the complaint in, and then when it is responded to, go higher?
