Like many people, I have fallen way behind. However, I have kept up with daily yoga, they've just often been the 6 minute yoga chill, bedtime yoga type things. We've had a tricky couple of weeks here really, with teething, colds and now vomit! So I think that's fair enough. And the important thing is I have done a daily practice.

For ages really I'd fallen into the habit of as soon as little one goes for her nap collapsing on the sofa in front of the TV. And I think that has made me feel more tired. So from today I'm going to do yoga and then watch TV. Today is day 6! Not really looking forward to that, to be honest! But I am up to it!

Yes it is becoming a habit, apparently if you do something for 15 days your brain wires it into a habit.

Glad to have caught this habit from you lovely lot.

@ScottishBeth i think you’re right about doing nothing making you more tired. I was feeling extremely lethargic yesterday (bad AF & works tough at the moment). Instead of staying at my desk during lunch I got up & went for a brisk walk somewhere new. About 2km so not far but because it was cold it woke me up a bit. I was so tempted to do what I normally do (read my kindle) but I’m trying to be more mindful.

Off to dinner with my mum & DS tonight so will be trying to squeeze in a practice before I go (not ideal as I was called into the office & ill be home later than planned 😡)

Well I succeeded in doing Move day 6! It was pretty difficult but I got through it. Think it might have been better not to have done it after days of very gentle yoga, but the important thing is it is done! And now I have a six pack. (I do, it's just well hidden.)

@happytobemrsg yes, doing something active can really help. A walk on your lunch break sounds good! How are you finding Move overall now?

@happytobemrsg good for you for beating the blues and doing it anyway! Can't say I've been the same, but it really does help my mood so I should make more effort on the days I don't feel like it.

@ScottishBeth I feel like I’m hitting my stride with Move now. The new & less wobbly/slippy mat helps. I think I was a little taken aback after doing Centre!

@CeeCeeDeeBee I never feel WORSE for doing yoga if I’m not feeling it. I might feel the same (mood wise) but usually I feel better & that motivates me. Same with getting out for a walk. As I’ve said, before taking up YWA in Jan I never moved 😂 but now I’m seeing how NOT moving doesn’t seem to make me feel any better.

Day 10 of Move done. Ended up leaving work late so I didn’t have time to do my practice before I went out to dinner so I had to do it when I got back. Was t too bad but glad it wasn’t Day 6 😂

Day 6 of move done (I'm doing something every day, but mixing up my progress through move with other stuff). Ouch. Glad it's out of the way though!

I liked this one. Nice and twisty at the start perfect for my back.

Couldn’t do the one legged grab and re grab knee though.

Really miss the nameste at the end Ciao just doesn’t feel right!

day 9 of Move done

Interestingly have had good results with nostril breathing for ds who has periods of serious self-flagellation after sibling arguments. He was almost hysterical last night, and doing even just a few alternate nostril breaths really helped him calm down. Thank you Adrienne for that 😘

Am a bit behind and not managing every day but I'm off work for half-term and will probably need it more because we're going to stay with my Mum so hopefully I'll manage a more regular practise.

But I hate nostril breathing - I have rhinitis ( basically always slightly runny ) and the nostril think often just leaves my nose totally bunged up

Did Move Day 11 today with my 3 year old. He was very funny & very distracting 😂 Might to a wind down before bed.

Center Day 13 - wow those elevator lunges were hard. I am happy though that I have the motivation to start my day with yoga.

Managed day 9 today. I enjoyed it and feel ready to get back into it. I'm thinking I will repeat move in March and try to manage every day.

I missed Thursday and Friday when I felt achy and faint, so today I caught up on Center day 9 and 10 and tomorrow I will do day 11 and 12. Hope you're all ok.

There’s lots of nasty bugs going about atm. I’ve decided I’m not getting any despite tending to my (Mancold) poorly husband this week. Let’s hope manifesting works!
Move Day 12 today. Only got to the mat because I’m accountable but so glad I did. Nice little Eagle balance in todays, not as dodgy for me as some others. The Tik tok plank was tough but I managed all, well chuffed!

@Yogachick fingers crossed you don't get anything. I normally swerve illnesses, so was surprised to feel so rotten. Thankfully it was short lived.

Just completed center days 11 and 12 I can rally see my progress from last month.

Day 12 move, a bit wobbly on the eagle arms but good to do.

I realise that I now need a three year old to 'help' as well as soover's little cat Grin

Hoochydog is still hitting me with her toys and walking underneath me at the downward dog bits, not very helpful.

The only time I found center hard was when I had a ear infection/dizziness.

I think we've got to be kind to ourselves and do what we can.

Dat 12 centre unwind

Well that was harder than expected! The lizard version (leaning on forearms) - no chance could I do that! So I stayed up right - still a nice stretchy challenging pose.
