Assuming no one has started a support thread already?

So I wanted to have a place to give and receive support! I do these every year and do YWA almost every day anyway and have done since 2015.

The Calendar showing length of each one is here

I'm really looking forward to it and did her 5 minutes intro today and then a 20 minute one from dedicate. As far as timings are concerned she posts at 12 noon Texas time which is 6pm in UK. But I find that first thing in the morning her email has the link which I click on and start and then it's lined up in my YouTube feed ahead of when it would actually drop onto YouTube. Because I do my yoga first thing in the morning.

Good luck everyone, hoping this year is a stonker at least for yoga!

How is everyone getting on? I'm still really enjoying this and have only missed two days. My hamstrings and upper abs are so sore today. I think it's from holding planks instead of using my knees but not sure why my hamstrings ache (it's a good ache though!)
I can't believe the 30 days are almost up!

Really enjoyed Day 25, but not sure about horse breath!

Tomcullenisahero · 26/01/2021 22:45

I know lol I just can't do that with my lips!
It flew in today.

I'm still following! Sore back and side muscles today which can only be because of my nemesis, side plank. My muscles are getting really tired now!

Loved today apart from perhaps the singing. I managed horse breath by making sure my mouth was really relaxed and my exhale was quite strong. Startled myself a bit!

I loved today's (27) and am perplexed how the practice is always right for my mood. Weird. I know it's not been the most challenging physically but I do love the 'breath' discipline. And I am sure my posture is better

For those if you who has done this before, what happens at day 30? Does she do other yoga sessions that can be viewed. I can't believe it's almost the end and I was planning on just going back to the start and doing it all over again.
I really have found a new love, why did it take me so long to try yoga?

Sooverthemill · 29/01/2021 09:12

@Tomcullenisahero here is the link to her free YouTube channel. There are other 30 days from previous years ( I plan to redo TRUE in February) and each month other than January she curates a month long calendar around a theme that pops up on YouTube ( you may need to search for the first few days) and you follow along. I usually do a mix of the calendar and favourites I've saved. I do it almost every single day first thing when I wake up.

Thank you very much. I honestly love it so much! Ive ordered a yoga mat (didn't order one before as I've bought things before for activities that I swifty get bored of) and plan on doing it every day. I enjoy yoga in the evening when my lot are all in their bedrooms doing their own thing.

Sooverthemill · 30/01/2021 09:17

@Tomcullenisahero that's a good plan and a yoga mat will really help. Buying kit isn't really necessary but a decent mat will make you feel more supported IMO
