Assuming no one has started a support thread already?

So I wanted to have a place to give and receive support! I do these every year and do YWA almost every day anyway and have done since 2015.

The Calendar showing length of each one is here

I'm really looking forward to it and did her 5 minutes intro today and then a 20 minute one from dedicate. As far as timings are concerned she posts at 12 noon Texas time which is 6pm in UK. But I find that first thing in the morning her email has the link which I click on and start and then it's lined up in my YouTube feed ahead of when it would actually drop onto YouTube. Because I do my yoga first thing in the morning.

Good luck everyone, hoping this year is a stonker at least for yoga!

@Londt I found myself more toned, more flexible and more relaxed

@Sooverthemill

I think she wears Adidas but they are identifiable easily. She wears independent local brands a lot and sometimes mentions them on her vlog this is one here

I liked today!

Thanks @Sooverthemill ! I thought they might be Outdoor Voices but couldn’t see them there. Never mind, I probably have enough pairs Grin

Loved day 7. I'm not feeling 100% and the stretchy moves were good for me. I am very much enjoying this series, hope everyone else is too

Hi I've started this 30 day challenge, I've never tried Yoga before and I'm really enjoying it. I look forward to doing it every evening. I've even roped my DH into doing it too.
I've found that my YouTube lines the next one up for me automatically so that it's the first thing on my list

Londt · 08/01/2021 15:49

Thank you @Sooverthemill you’ve convinced me to stick with it Smile

Pashazade · 08/01/2021 16:07

Does anyone else wonder where she puts her microphone! 🤣. I can't help wondering......

Beketaten · 08/01/2021 19:44

I enjoyed today's! Glad I'm still sticking with it.

noodlezoodle · 08/01/2021 19:45

I don't know that I enjoyed day 7 at the time, but I felt amazing afterwards!

I'm really enjoying the series Soover - I haven't bookmarked any of the practices to re-do again, apart from the day 6 core practice, but I'm really enjoying the overall theme and how it fits together.

Can't wait for day 8, always a treat.

Going by the crackle when she was doing the twists at the beginning, I think it’s on her right shoulder.
Thepawtriarchy · 08/01/2021 23:35

Day 7 was good although I hate sitting cross legged for longer than a minute or two!

Sooverthemill · 09/01/2021 08:59

Day 8 done! Stressful morning me at I didn't quite finish all the relax bit but did very much enjoy the stretches

I'm really enjoying yoga more than I ever thought. I didn't get a chance to do yesterday's so I did it and today's this afternoon and I just feel lovely and floaty! I'm hoping to continue yoga after the 30 days. Why have I never tried this before?Smile

Sooverthemill · 10/01/2021 11:51

@Tomcullenisahero yay that's fab. Go for it. I loved day 9

Day 10 done. Really didn’t want to do it as I had a dreadful nights sleep but it’s only 20 minutes and was actually fine. Love Gate pose

I find that I'm actually looking forward to doing her yoga videos. I do mine about 8pm but it's turning into the highlight of my day. I'm a bit sore in the hip area from yesterday's stretches.

noodlezoodle · 11/01/2021 23:07

I really like Gate pose as well and it never seems to come up that much. Today went by very quickly, but I quite enjoyed it. Sore arms and hips from the last couple of days.

Sooverthemill · 12/01/2021 09:34

Day 11 was so good for me, I adore a decent flow and sleeping pigeon is a favourite

Beketaten · 14/01/2021 18:42

Yes, been enjoying it lately, really like the flow sessions.

Sooverthemill · 14/01/2021 19:26

Yes I am definitely enjoying and benefitting from this series. Will be one to repeat I reckon

Great session for day 14 though a bit long for my timescales

OP posts:
Sooverthemill · 16/01/2021 09:49

Day 15 also rather fab. I'm finding that the front of my thighs have muscles I didn't know existed which after 6 years of pretty much daily yoga was a surprise.

I generally consider myself fit and strong. I ran 8 miles last night with a good male runner from my running club (so not slow) and I was doing fairly regular yoga classes before the first lockdown but I'm finding these hard on my arms and shoulders. Good though and have stuck with it so far.

Tomcullenisahero · 19/01/2021 08:18

Just checking in, still enjoying this yoga malarkey. I think I've missed a day last week but apart from that have done it everyday. So relaxing although I found yesterdays tough enough, I broke into a sweat lol
Think this will be one new years resolution that will stick!

Sooverthemill · 19/01/2021 09:14

I've managed to do every day even though yesterday I didn't think I'd make it. Am so enjoying this practice, it's just right for me at present. Especially enjoyed today, centre
