What do you do? I'm getting jaded working in the NHS and know I have many skills that I could use elsewhere...

I was also in the NHS and I switched to working for a manufacturer in sales

Senior management with a research scientific requirement, so probably a bit specialist

Programme development management

NHS - consultant

Software consultant.

Sales training.

specialist IT contractor in fintech.

Not with the budget cuts and not great job security.

Head of department in Finance Insustry

NHS GP (but leaving the NHS shortly to go fully private and earn 3xmore)

Operations Manager - over £50k on FTE but I am part time at the moment so earn just under.

I’m a neuropsychologist in private practice. I earn about 75k, 3 days a week, term time only.

Niche tech

Consultancy. Most (all?) the f these jobs you wouldn't just be able to walk into though, you'd need specific degree and experience first and to work your way up. My job needs an engineering or science degree plus a masters degree, and you'd start on £30k. It'd likely take you around 8 years to get to £50k but you can go much higher after that too.

I thought there were hundreds of recruiters on Mumsnet?? I wonder where all they are...
