45 hour week for £26,700 per annum: thoughts please....?

This seems like a very long week to me (I'm moving from part-time to full-time so it's a bit of a shock!)

Are there any other breaks?

As having 1 x 30 mins break in a 9 hour day is illegal.

It very much isn’t. The legal requirement is 20 minutes for any working day that is longer than 6 hours. That’s it.

No, you're incorrect.

A 9 hour day needs more than just a 30 mins lunch break.

Another 15 mins break is needed too.

Nope, you’re wrong. The legal position has been posted on the thread.

DD works in a pharmacy. Her hours are 9 - 6 with just one 20 minute break for lunch.

When I worked in retail we had tea breaks and a longer lunch break.

What about holidays, are some if the school holiday periods paid or can you use holiday during term time? As that might need factored into the calculation.
