Work toilets

I work within education and I'm absolutely fed up of our work toilets being left in the following way ......

  • drip/s of wee on the seat,
-stinking like a sewer you walk in and your eyes literally stream
  • no toilet roll ..... new roles are located in back of toilet /window cill
-or the worst ..... fanny gravel left on the seat 🤢🤮 without outing my work place by being so specific we only have 3 men who work at my work place, over 60 women so the chances are the culprits are actually women.

Is this actual normal work place behaviour?!

If that were me I’d take some wet wipes in my handbag, hold my nose, do what I need to do and get outta there asap.

I have no idea what the last item involves, but if they smell that bad, that's either a plumbing issue or male spraying.

Toilets gross me out. I always anti bac the seat first for this very reason.

I'm in education too and our loos are foul. The building is dated and the toilets are are right by the office and the staffroom. You can hear every little thing right down to someone unzipping their fly. You have to practically contort yourself if you don't want to have an audible piss. A number two is totally out of the question. It's completely undignified and I loathe it!!

Really? Thats not a problem Ive ever experienced on a regular basis.

Sounds like the place where you work either doesnt have the loos cleaned often enough. Or someone you work with doesnt respect the others who use the loos. Which in my experience is most likely to be a man.

And what is "fanny gravel" fgs.

For context Im a student at college, the loos are fine. Never had a problem with how they are used.

@TomatoSandwiches no I'm very much a female, I always thought men were the worst for leaving toilets in a bad way but I'm very wrong. How hard is it to check you haven't left the seat in a mess?! Our cleaners only clean in the evening and are really rubbish cleaners.

It's kind of like specks of stuff. Maybe dust from toilet roll/knicker fabric, not showered in the morning type stuff....... or even worse

My last office suffered from fanny gravel - sprinkles of what looks like clothes fluff mixed with skin flakes or dried body secretions. Grim.
