Have previously come across a similar thread on another forum and it was so interesting! Basically people commented with their job, age and how much they earn. I hate my job/industry and feel it doesn't pay well like I was led to believe but also feel I have no idea what's out there career/job wise and how much various jobs would earn so what I could do.

I'm 27, a solicitor in Scotland and earn £35k

Tax Manager, London, 42, £115k base + bonus and shares about £40k per year.

49, NHS, 50k ish

I work in Tesco! 😂 10 minutes from my house.
On above min wage & bring home just shy of £1000 a month. That’s without overtime and for 24.5 hrs

Yes! 10% and then 15% around payday for 4 days. We are paid every 4 weeks, l should have said. :)

£130k. I am an accountant. But I work part time and short hours from home in a low stress role so that I can spend more time with DCs without being stressed out (I'm a single parent). I am 37.

I mean that's my salary for my part-time hours (21 hours per week, flexible). When my childrem are older and need me less my priorities may change and I might decide to go for something that pays more but I like the work and colleagues I have now and the relative freedom for someone who is an employee (I rarely went to the office even pre-Covid) so I think it's a good balance.

40-50k freelance tv editor working 10 months of the year

I’m currently studying for a degree with which I will (hopefully) make 30k, potentially over once I gain more experience.

If I was to work full time in my current part time job it would be about 18k. In the mental health sector, lone working and dealing with potentially dangerous individuals. It’s definitely not on par with what should be paid for the type of job it is.

Work in admin at a university. Earn 20k

Oh and I am 39

55. Used to be a lecturer at FE college, head of subject £37k. Too stressful and the bullying was shite.

So now Police Dispatcher £30K. A whole lot of stress but different. And currently able to wfh as ECV. On my break right now.

Yup, unless people are lying on here, this is solid gold for scammers.

You may think this is an anonymous forum but hackers can triangulate this data with everything else you post on all your social media feeds and build a nice clear picture of you. Are you really that naive and clueless about how to protect your personal identity!?
