Student Health Visitor Interview!!

Hi all.
I am currently a staff nurse on maternity leave and I have been very lucky, I have managed to get an interview for a Student Health Visitor Post tomorrow. Has anyone any advice they can give me for the actual interview? I am stressing as it is something I have wanted to do for a long time! I have send by little man over to his nans this afternoon so I can concentrate, I have just been getting more stressed as the day goes on. I have been preparing for the interview for some time but I'm worried my nerves will ruin it for me! Any advice or tips would be great. Thank you.

This really sucks and I understand Mondaybaby so well! But den dey Wud release it whenever they choose to. They probably don't want us to reapply! just wondering

Just phoned london deanery... The offers were sent to the trust on Monday.... If successful the trust will contact you to let you know.... If not then london deanery will
Contact to give you bad news.....
He said on the phone definitely by next week we should all know...... Now I'm worried cos if I not been successful... I would like to reapply!!!

Thanks for that update Z. So, the LD should be able to tell us if they have bad news or not this week? I can't wait another weekend.

Just called them too. They won't tell us if we're unsuccessful until the successful candidates have been informed by the trust, "hopefully by the end of NEXT week".

@Monday baby... So maybe if the successful candidates say no and don't accept... Maybe they will pass it down to the reserve list??

I think that is putting a positive spin on the situation Zek! But it might be true. I'm trying to relax- getting myself into a tizz. I think I am going to forget about it until they call now. Hopefully I'll get the call from the trust, not the deanery.....

Next round of recruitment, for Jan intake, closes on Monday7th October. The last round off applications to interview has taken approx 4 months. If the next round takes Oct to end of Dec then I wouldn't be able to give my required 2 months notice to my current job.

Gosh....just been reading through all (well, most) of the messages. I live in the Midlands and when i applied, I found out about two weeks later... Interview was within 4 weeks and told that I had a place same day as interview. I must be one of the lucky few lol.
Hope people are successful but also know that some will be disappointed as places are becoming limited as 2015 draws ever closer. This meaning that HV places will start to become harder to get.
I started my training in Jan 13 and have been enjoying it although it is a very hard course and needs lots of commitment. Plenty of required throughout lol

I still haven't heard anything and am starting to go a little crazy not knowing.

Today is Friday and nothing from the trust! Mayb I didn't get it. I'll just wAit for my feedback from Londondeanery. Not raising my hopes no more!

Biddyshegs I'm the same!! But not of the girls found out she has a place at the trust I applied for and currently work.... I'm not too hopeful now either!! ??

Zek, yes I just checked FB too and realised she's gt a place wiv guys and st Thomas! We don't knw if she was called or mailed.

hi guys am kinda stuck. Got a presentation on What are the challenges for delivering a modern Health visiting service in the new nhs

So I passed stage 1 of the interview process which was numeracy and literacy. Now I have to do presentation on what are the key elements of the health visiting service (taking into account the Health Visitor Implementation Plan Policy and Educating Health Visitors for a Transformed Service 2011). Any key points would be appreciated.

Hi Shazmap, I am not a hv but waiting for the results of my interview. But thinking about your presentation I would think about talking about the HCP too.
