Polycule falls apart

I expect people remember that Heather Herbert (charged in relation to social media comments he made after Ann Widdecombe's death) is in a polycule with Sophie Molly (aka Sparkles, aka Euan Weddell) and someone called Poppybear.

Molly, I believe, is a witness for Jolyon Maugham in Sarah Phillimore's libel case against Maugham.

Poppybear has been posting some very indiscreet posts on BlueSky about both Molly and Herbert, and it looks, tragically, as if the polycule has fallen apart.

According to Poppybear, Herbert's comments about Widdecombe "painted a bullseye on all of us", and led to the police coming in and "invading" all their devices (whatever that means).

Also according to Poppybear, living with Sophie Molly is "like being permanently slapped around the face by pathological laziness unless it's something that grooms her ego."

I agree. I feel a bit sorry for him.

I actually buy what he's saying re the mobility aids, if Sparkles got jealous re him and Herbert, it's exactly the kind of thing I can imagine Sparkles doing.

Even given a host of dreadful behaviour over the years this has to be pretty near the top if true.

It could be bail conditions on Herbert and co especially if there's more going on than just the AW tweets.
Remember all of their devices were confiscated and Herbert etc al refuse to say what he has been charged with and hes not up before a judge for.a couple of weeks (if I remember correctly) so we wont find out until then

Sparkles tortures the English language on a regular basis - seems to think it makes him sound intellectual whereas it actually makes him sound pompous & incomprehensible 🙄

AFAIK he was reported to procurator fiscal, so it will be some time before it’s known if he’s going to court (on the public record) or if it’s a fine or no further action (not on the public record).

There is a fiction (possibly not purely fictional) book that I read quite a few years ago, where the family were looking to socially transition a pre-pubescent boy, and part of the back story was the tragic loss of his sister in very early childhood.

There was no curiosity of connection made between this loss and the boy's wish to be a girl -or some of his family members' keeness to embrace this wish- but it was interesting that it was included in the story.

Nobody else I know who read the book made the connection either.
