Unison, Aslef, Usdaw and the Musicians Union are planning to not attend Labour Women's Conference on 26 September 2026 in Liverpool because men are not allowed.

This is breaking Labour party rules against sex discrimination against women and that the Supreme Court judgement is correct:
https://labour.org.uk/resources/supreme-court-judgment-faqs/

This could be a huge issue for Burnham and Labour. Especially as Unison, & Unite are already facing court cases over their refusal to admit women exist.

Like the recent Amnesty trainwreck this could be a self inflicted car crash for TAs in the unions. It will force Labour to choose between reality and catering to a bunch of sexists who don't like it when women get have political meetings without male supervision.

Supreme Court Judgment FAQs – The Labour Party

Supreme Court Judgment: Frequently Asked Questions On 16 April 2025, the Supreme Court clarified that references to “women” in the Equality Act 2010 refer to biological sex (meaning the sex of a person at birth), not gender. This means that certain sex...

@alcovecupboards Please be honest with us. You are not GC. You are not 'Trans tolerant - dress and act however you want but stay out of our spaces ' . You are full on TWAM.

You really cannot cope with the idea that other women disagree with you, can you? It's very odd to me. There is a nuance to be had but the radicalisation on here prevents you from seeing it.

Are you quite OK?

Did that make you feel better?

It's the rage and emotional incontinence that's always the giveaway. Never able to sustain a respectful discussion while disagreeing - always ending up making accusations about unintelligence, sad lives etc.

Every.single.time.

Circumstances are context. It's clear you don't wish to give the circumstances and only you know why. And as fun as it has been to run rings around you, I'm off to bed to get in a few chapters of the Alpine Hotel.

As I said, I will give you the benefit of the doubt as I'm feeling generous tonight, but I'm glad we finished on a point of agreement - that such men are indeed outrageous.

Goodnight and enjoy your book.

They're nothing if not predictable.

It's usually one of a handful - I don't think it comes as a surprise to any of us @ReturnOfTheReal

How on earth have I tried to "cram men into women's services"? Be clear.

You suggested;
and likewise groups and services should be allowed to be trans inclusive should they want to be.

I replied;
If you mean a service can include women and transmen then yes. They are all female. If you mean women and transwomen, then no. It can be single sex or mixed sex. What protected characteristic do women and transwomen have in common? That would be none.

So your suggesting a women's service that includes transwomen is by definition an attempt to cram men into women's services.

Now should I add something uneccessary and mildly offensive as to your comprehension skills or your lack of a life by posting obsessively on here? Or can we just take it as read.

Helleofabore · 27/09/2026 23:31

There have been numerous posters who post the ‘I’m as GC as they come but …’ over the past few years. It is never a surprise that they are not supportive of female single sex provisions excluding all male people over aboit 8 yrs old. Because the ‘I’m as GC as it comes’ is another dishonest tactic to both attempt to get lurkers to agree with them as well as to try to create a false narrative about what people who describe themselves as GC agree on.

The reality is that too many of these posters are just saying that soundbite to attempt to influence lurkers while also shaming posters who disagree with them.

Oh dear. Do you think you're intelligent? Goodness me. I suppose it's nice to have confidence but really, delusions of adequacy does spring to mind.

Keep it up, pet. Every snide comment reveals more of your misogyny towards other women. No wonder you're not unhappy at the idea of trans-identifying men in women's spaces. 🙄

Saw that earlier tonight.

Ironically, these types don't seem to appreciate that the only reason they're able to play their little games is that unlike their home sub, this place doesn't tend to ban posters who date to disagree with them.

Absolutely; other places, you feet wouldn't touch the ground. Still, not surprising in a world where free speech is seen as a right-wing thing.

I’m waiting for screeching and hysterical. Have we had those yet?

Rollingpinofdoom · 28/09/2026 05:42

What fucking losers must they be! That’s so pathetic. Ooh I know, I have nothing to do with my life so I’ll go and mess around on a website. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Very very sad and pathetic.

Also from that thread:
I think they are that delusional that they really believe to be in some "silent majority" and not just hateful cranks, who can only make the world a better place by, finally, dying.
Can't wait.

I suppose at least he makes clear that 'equalities' actually in his mind means 'owned by men for men'.

" What's yours is mine".

You know what, if it keeps that creep occupied and away from bothering women in real life, I am happy to play his stupid games.

It is you who is coming on to this forum, which you knew, beforehand, had been set up for women to discuss the negative impact of trans ideology on women's rights, female protections and on children. Why are you so surprised that so many people are arguing with you?

A radical ideology such trans ideology requires a concerted and determined push-back...which it is getting.

WrongKindOfFeminist · 28/09/2026 08:39

The weird fantasy that all the women who support the Supreme Court judgement and hold 'gc' views are older than them is the reason prominent TRAs often make these statements about how we are all close to imminent death.

You often get the sense they think that transitioning stops the ageing process as well as magically changing their sex.

Well it's easy, isn't it - in addition to identifying as the sex they're not, they can simply identify as an age they're not. Problem solved!

I did suggest that should a group wish to be trans inclusive then it should be allowed to be. Note the words 'should' and 'wish'. Your position appears to be that any group should be banned from being trans inclusive - despite the wishes of its members. Which of us is 'cramming' anything? Because only your position is forcing others to do something against their own wishes.
