Indeed.

I'm not sure why an AI generated list of her political views, which seems to credit Facebook, is poetic justice?

Maybe poetic justice means something different these days.

PandorasMailbox · Today 20:34

We've been believing them for a long time. It looks like others are finally believing, too. @ChazsBrilliantAttitude

Disgusting, evil creep.

ElizaSchuyler · Today 20:34

I’d also say that most of us on here do not agree with most of Ann Widecombe’s views or agree with many of her actions. . But her views on free speech were valid and she did not deserve to be murdered.

Freedom of speech for me, but not for thee.
Transphobic individuals can incite violence on innocent people or preach hate and it’s not against the law but when someone else expresses their free speech it’s against the law.

Still waiting for your evidence for this diatribe. Thanks.

We totally are, though. If we weren't, you wouldn't have a problem with us.

Did this sound clever in your head?

Yup.

Same as Charlie Kirk.

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" - Evelyn Beatrice Hall.

The crowing over the brutal beating to death of a vulnerable 78 year old woman in the safety of her own home is despicable. But not illegal.

murasaki · Today 20:49

And Charlie Kirk, not unlike Ann, and i disagreed with both of them a LOT, seemed ok with debating their points of view. Neither deserved to be murdered.

ThatCyanCat · Today 20:53

MashaPav · Today 20:27

Indeed.

You appear to be insinuating that she deserved to be murdered for her opinions. Is that what you believe? Simple yes or no will do.

PandorasMailbox · Today 20:54

Exactly @murasaki

If we all went around murdering people we disagreed with, I wouldn't be able to leave my flat without stepping over corpses. Some of whom would be my friends and family.

Of course the reporter knows because they didn’t mention man or woman.

The reporter reported on a police statement that also did not mention whether they were a man or woman. Should reporters be embellishing police statements and reporting things that were not said now?

Debate, I find, is fairly easy, even enjoyable, if you live in the real world, have real conviction about what you're saying, and have enough experience and/or evidence to back it up.

This is why they needed No Debate, and why now, as we are seeing, they have NOTHING.

No reality.
No convictions.
No evidence.

Masha

You are so keen to score points against GC people but all you’ve scored is an own goal.

Most of us found his tweets objectionable not because of his identity but because of the nastiness of them. My only thought was the mask has slipped and now you’ve shown the world just how unpleasant you are. It showed the double edged nature of free speech- he was free to make those comments and I am equally free to judge his character based on them.

As Maya Angelou said “When somebody shows you who they are believe them…”

Stating fact, reality, and the truth is not "embellishment." Real life isn't a game where you can change your surroundings and add characters in interesting costumes. You know this, right?

Wow, I can't believe what I am reading here.

Holding these views, in the UK, does not carry the death penalty. What sort of world do you want to live in? And what sort of person are you? You need to step back from this for the good of your health.

Setting aside what's legally sanctionable, violent revenge fantasy has been part far left and right for decades, but there has been a dramatic up-tick on the left in the last five years. The degree of emotional disregulation and blood lust is hair-raising: the Trump assassination attempt, the Mangione assassination, the Kirk assassination, the wave of property crimes unleashed during the first weeks of Trump's second presidential term, Trantifa and zizians -- these are both clear products of left wing nihlism, but also cause left social media to light up with support.

Well, it's been nearly two and a half hours since you made this statement and you have provided ZERO evidence. So, I call foul, and you made the whole thing up!

If you would like to provide evidence, feel free to do so, but I won't hold my breath.

Since the police said no crime had been committed, presumably they then found something that would warrant a search, and then they found all the dodgy crap.

The videos of these men are unbelievable. Unhinged, creepy as fuck, clueless losers. Who, by saying they are trans, are suddenly elevated to speshul status.

As far as they're concerned, what's not to like. Then they get to exercise their violent misogyny like there's no tomorrow.

A few years back, they would be nowhere. No one would be listening to them, they would be unemployable and people would cross the road to avoid them.

It would appear, that plastering themselves from one end of the Internet to the other, being wankers and threatening women has suddenly put their trajectory into hard reverse.

ISTR there was a woman corporate who was murdered as well. Plus obviously the glorying in Hamas’ Israel terror attack etc.

As much as I like the thought that this vile man has been charged I don't believe that his disgusting tweet is a criminal matter.

It depends on the circumstances surrounding his words.

Edited

Not too long ago, they'd have been popped into a cosy cell wearing jackets that tied at the back.

I suspect the police have found other things more concerning than the revolting comments about Ann Widdecombe.
