AidaP is scraping Mumsnet threads, and grading them

Honestly, this man is obsessed. He has now created a program to scrape and grade Mumsnet threads from this board.

What is this?

Oh yes, I have downloaded most of mumsnet and we will be doing embeddings of the content to try to understand how does the rot and hate builds and spreads.

I never had so much hate and delusion on my hard drive before 😅

And of course, he has just signalled to a group of other men who will similarly believe that it is acceptable to speak with violence, threat and intimidation to come onto that thread for their own purposes.

We have pointed out, this man cannot recognise women's boundaries, he cannot show that he can behave within the boundaries of acceptable behaviour, and he cannot self-regulate his emotional outbursts.

The women on mumsnet really are the barometer to tell what kind of man is going to be nasty.

Pattern recognition is second to none on here.

I wish sometimes HQ would act on what the women say, a little earlier

He has come to the conclusion that 'Mumsnet must die', apparently.

How surprising that this man who aggressively claims to be a woman/lesbian wishes death on a site for women, by women. A site where women chat, and offer help and support, and solidarity, including helping abused women escape their partners, etc.

Well that’s a sane, balanced, rational response to reading things he doesn’t agree with.

And he thinks this won’t validate our risk assessment that he needs to be kept far, far away from women’s single sex spaces…

Shedmistress · 04/05/2026 12:29

'Mumsnet must die'.

And to think how long they took to ban him giving him the benefit of the doubt.

But again, they prove our point every bloody time.

JustBitetheKnotsOff · 04/05/2026 12:47

The thread about how to help a suddenly trans identifying Canadian teen did get some dangerous suggestions, he's not entirely wrong there.

So do legal threads and quite a few health threads. They don't tend to attract death threats to people or the site, though.

solerolover · 04/05/2026 12:48

"Mumsnet must die", eh?

Ooh the typical male pattern violence is strong in this one, I see.🙃

Agreed.

Someone asking for help and being offered advice that others consider unhelpful is just not in the same universe as 'Mumsnet must die' or rape by splintery baseball bat.

It’s interesting reading this thread alternately with the transgender homicides one.

Most trans activists are harmless, if deluded and sexist.

There are a surprising number who feel the need to express violent feelings towards women, though. And a small number I feel are genuinely dangerous, obsessive, and unstable men.

He thought that a MN poster would take up his offer to meet him for a coffee.

That offer looks even more sinister in hindsight.

Bloody hell.
Not an offer I'd accept.

"Mumsnet must die"

What - all of it, Aida?
So advice about the most stylish and comfortable gold sandals, or dealing with a mild eye infection in a cat, or questions to put to your local candidates - this is all evil evil evil and must die, Aida?

Or do you just obsess about this board?

Yes. Maybe he got his arse handed to him on the S & B boards and told spinny skirts and anime socks are passé.

And such a typically male patterned behaviour to set up a data scraping tool to ‘grade’ replies when he didn’t get his desired handmaid sycophantic responses. Very few (any?) actual women would respond in such a manner.

Quite. I’m struggling to imagine many women investing so much time, energy and headspace in to forcing people to do their bidding.

Gold sandals must die.

I have at least three pairs of gold shoes, one of which are gold sandals.

That, my collection of brightly coloured dresses/skirts and my continuing love of boot cut jeans means that I do not often venture onto the S&B board.

I like the S&B board as a sort of R&R from the...how shall I put it diplomatically - slightly less dramatic problems in the world. But very real for the posters involved.

I also like the fact that everybody pitches in with such gusto to find someone the perfect gold sandal, or the idea outfit for a slightly boho wedding, or - I loved this one: an interview outfit, on a very tight budget, for a very much needed job.
Not only was there lots of advice, but also so many lovely expressions of support for the OP.
I hope she got the job, as so many posters wished for herSmile

Spotted too late to edit, but I should have written 'the slightly more dramatic problems of the world'

But you all knew what I meant anyway I'm sureSmile

Even more concerning was his offer to pay her fare for her to travel to meet where he lived.

That's actually rather lovely. I hope she got that job too,

That would break every rule of meeting strangers off the internet, would it not?

Even more concerning was his offer to pay her fare for her to travel to meet where he lived.

What was even more concerning was the diatribe from him, after the poster's very politely and diplomatically expressed refusal to meet a random stranger off the internet, in which he tried to shame her into meeting him.

The rage at being denied was very male.
