Oh yes, I have downloaded most of mumsnet and we will be doing embeddings of the content to try to understand how does the rot and hate builds and spreads.

I wouldn't knock that @oldtiredcyclist; as I said earlier on this thread, there's a good YouTube channel by Tom Gilbey and he rates supermarket wines and his recommendations for Lidl and Aldi cremants saw us through Christmas! :-)

There is absolutely no difference between currants, sultanas and raisins. They are equally despicable. That is my line in the sand.

I like the Cremant from Iceland (supermarket not country). I think it's £11 ish. I may have to try your wife's recommendation.

Those after raisins soaked in something, Aldi fruit tea loaf is dirt cheap, and the first two ingredients are sultanas and tea, so it's actually probably good for you.

If you ever make your own wine, you can save the fruit mush afterwards and use it in cakes. I used to make a lovely plum wine, and then put the plums afterwards into baked goods. After a few weeks soaking in its own alcohol, it made some bloody lovely Christmas treats.

If you get in now, there is a Hungarian fizz at Lidl for a tenner that is excellent value.

The Hungarian bubbles they had in last week for the Wine Tour is very good and only a pound more.

Lidl also had a sparkling Grillo in the other day to, that would be worth a try but not to go with Arabella's bounties.

Indeed they aren't. Different sizes, different colours and different tastes and they give different results when used in baking. Definitely not interchangeable.
