How did all these changes to a perfectly functioning, safe and workable system come about? Is it really down to the power of the trans lobby? Or is the trans thing a Trojan horse to break all the social contract stuff and remove safeguarding, privacy, dignity, safety et al?

Dear God, enclosed toilets with no sink, forcing women and girls to leave the cubicle with unwashed, possibly bloody hands and clean themselves in full view of anyone? It’s unbelievable.
I’m well past normal menopause age but have a current condition that means I’m bleeding (am being well looked after, expecting resolution soon) rather like a normal heavy but prolonged period. Amazingly, I had “forgotten” about the pain, mess, indignity and expense of menstruation, rather in the way that one “forgets” childbirth. It’s horrendous.
If I were a girl forced to use such toilets my reaction would be very straightforward. I wouldn’t go to school when on my period. I might not even go at all.

It's what's happening in some secondary schools in Fife - sinks are open to the corridor - there's a space where a door should be. (The door frame is there...only the door is missing.)

In one school built in the '80s they achieved a similar level of inconvenience for female pupils by putting in large windows which allowed you to see into the sink area.

It's supposed to stop bullying and vandalism...

It does not stop bullying and vandalism.

Moreover, in new build schools staff were initially expected to share facilities with pupils. One school circumvented this by declaring that one set of toilets was for staff only. Another told staff to use the disabled toilets.

The solution (If there was one) depended on the HT. There was one male HT who refused to set aside toilets for staff. It was later realised that he was making use of a toilet "for visitors" which was very close to his office.

Am happy to send it to them, any ideas where to should head to?

Their website is sex-matters.org, not sure how to make it link here, but it comes up if you Google "sex matters charity". Scroll down the home page and right near the bottom there's a Contact Us link.

It does seem deliberate. I was wondering if Dentons had mentioned anything about toilets, so went to my usual link:

Dentons campaigns for kids to switch gender without parental approval - RollOnFriday

By Jamie Hamilton
29 November 2019
Children should be allowed to change their legal gender without the involvement of medical professionals or parents, says Dentons, and the state should take "action" against parents who attempt to intervene.
The recommendations are contained in a report produced by the firm which its authors describe as a "powerful tool for activists".

[It seems to have been withdrawn from this website]:

"Only adults? Good practices in legal gender recognition for youth" advises campaigners to be secretive about the changes they are lobbying to put into law.
The document was written by staff from the firm in conjunction with Thomson Reuters Foundation and LGBT pressure group IGLYO. Its authors include several Dentons trainees and Lamin Khadar, the firm's Pro Bono Manager. A disclaimer states that it "does not necessarily reflect the personal views of any of the lawyers, staff or clients of Dentons".

Does anyone know where else Dentons playbook can be found?

Really it's a human rights abuse of school aged girls. Access to education is a human right, you could argue that girls don't have that if they have to use these toilets and they find doing so dehumanising and impossible on safety, religious, practical / hygiene or dignity grounds. Development charities have known that single sex toilets are a prerequisite for girls to attend school for decades.

And then the government, Dfe wonder why there are problems with attendance and more and more parents are opting to (safeguard their children via) homeschool. Fecking eejits.

I think Tallisker is right about the Trojan horse though, it's the only logical explanation.

BridgetPhillipsonIsACowardlyJobsworth · 10/09/2026 15:03

Many women have been noting for years that the whole TRA thing is mainly a men's rights movement. If fewer girls attend school due to inappropriate toilet and changing facilities, then eventually there could end up being fewer educated women in society, in the economy, in public, and visible.

On the face of it, it seems absurd to connect the two, but we do know, especially from Dentons, that a lot of men have been willing and able to play the long game.

FarriersGirl · 10/09/2026 15:13

This is the basis of huge campaigns/fundraising by charity's such as Action Aid and Amnesty but in the next breath they will throw all women and girls under the proverbial bus by insisting TWAW and anyone who objects is a bigot etc. This level of hypocrisy is so enormous I expect it can be seen from space 😡

Everything we know about safeguarding children and women when vulnerable has been deliberately undermined by these men and their organisations. With society completely failing to stand up to the intimidation and bullying.

4MB total file...

Do you mind sharing which trust this is? My daughter goes to a school run by a multi-academy trust - I've been thinking to ask if they're updating their toilet provision to be compliant, but if you're part of the same trust it is less urgent. It's good that someone is paying attention!

Treaclewell · 10/09/2026 15:56

It's a shame the pupils can't organise, as a school did over trousers for girls, and label the toilets as male and female and observe that themselves. They'd need some charismatic pupils, boys and girls, and unobsered places to neet.

Having written that, I am reminded of a film of a school - was it to keep the band going - where the children rebelled and won. It wasn't St Tribian's. It needs something like that. And they didn't have phones or Youtube.

I think that’s described as queering society? Definitely seen as an objective by some groups…

Edited

There is a very old film 1950s called - It’s great to be young, with a very young Richard O’Sullivan.

And, just answering my other question: there is precisely ONE mention in Dentons of "toilets" so although it has probably been a deliberate tactic by activists (getting into women's toilets and changing rooms) for many years, it is not explicitly mentioned as a tactic in Dentons. (not as far as I could see)

This document is what we've been calling Dentons Playbook or Rulebook. It's basically a How To Book written by Dentons law firm, in collaboration with others, about playing the long game, influencing governance and governments, and "getting ahead of the law" so that they could turn societies into those that would accept (and, indeed, mandate) the concept of the "trans child" and, therefore, help to validate older (mainly) men's predilections, wants, desires, and demands.

All disguised in a "State of the World for Young Trans People" wrapper. In a nutshell. But there's a lot more to it, because of its implications and what it has been used for.

It's a dry, yet sinister document, setting out, step-by-step, how to make society a better place for deluded men. By working under the radar to influence the judiciary. By indoctrinating our society and our children. All facilitated by a law firm, who were, presumably paid a great deal of money to do this.

That's my take, anyway. Other evaluations are available.

Thank you for the link.

FFS what exactly is difficult to understand that female humans prefer to not undress in front of anyone but if they have to they need it to be another female.

Note: Need not want.

Men can want to watch women and girls undressing all they want but there is no need for them to do so except in very specific circumstances with a female chaperone.

I had to google 'GBOL', and I see that

GBOL stand for Genome Biology Ontology Language and it provides structured ontology-based representations of genome annotations using the Resource Description Framework (RDF) to enable interoperable, provenance-aware genomic data integration.

Sex Matters are such a clever lot they probably do GBOL for fun when they're taking a bit of a break from fighting for women's sex-based rights😂
