Opening soon in a salubrious location.

And thanks to the miraculous qualities, although we will indeed have

One-steps and two-steps and the divil knows what new steps
We know that we never would be dull again, bedad
We'll have wine, porter and lemonade.
We'll have cocktails and cocoa and all
We'll have champagnes tonight
But NO real pains next morning
Tonight when we dance at the Bluestocking Ball

slight apologies to Frank Harte

Peppermint oil capsules?

For some reason they always repeat on me, I don't know if there's a knack to taking them. Something minty is probably a good call though.

This is of no immediate use, but I tend to keep a pack of these in the house:

Now you mention it, I do have cinnarizine in the cupboard, which does a similar job. Might be worth a try.

Some types of nausea are caused by histamine intolerance in which case an antihistamine might help.

I don't think it is in this case. Cinnarizine is a mild antihistamine and hasn't done much.

Any book by Manchán Magan is worth reading, Britinme, I'd say he was an amazing man but I always had a suspicion that he wasn't 100% human, that he had some of ancients, the magical ancestors, the Tuatha De Danaan, the Good People, in himSmile

His ashes were taken to the ancient sacred centre of Ireland, the HIll of Uisneach, and the thousands of people who gathered there probably felt, like me, that he was going back through the mists of time to where he came from.

Hi all been rather sidelined by the family stuff. Nephew has had his skull put back on, well a prosthetic today. And is doing well.

I posted a thread calling to action, regarding women's charities providing services to TIM’s which has been picked up and posted on Linkedin, by a TRA

All good as charities may well be made aware that we are watching them.

Fame at last!!!!!!

should i be scared ( i am not btw)

I find a glass of milk helps if feeling a bit sick. Ginger always makes me feel much worse. Mint tea makes me feel worse too. Possible I'm just weird as I think this is the opposite of most people.

good to hear your nephew is making progress though that’s a heck of a thing poor lad.

Hopefully the charities (and other service providers) are realising they need to get their houses in order.

Britinme · 24/02/2026 21:31

Could you post a link to that thread please @Hedgehogforshort ? I can't seem to see it.

@EdithStourton I love that word "hooning", which I have never come across before but get the gist of from context. And I love the Tales of Batshit and Brains, which I think you should publish somewhere.

That is very kind, Brit, but it would prove somewhat outing...
We'll just have to confine them to the Bluey. And environs, obviously - I'm sure there's a massive stretch of woodland, heath etc round behind Peak Woo.

EdithStourton · 24/02/2026 22:03

@Hedgehogforshort it's good to hear that your nephew is recovering. It's a huge thing for your family to be dealing with.

It's good that your nephew is doing well, but he's going through so much heavy stuff, and the family tooFlowers

I can understand that it feels a bit scary that your campaign has been taken up by TRAs, just remember who you are: Nothing gets the better of
Hedge the Ledge [legend]. ✊

It's Dream and Sleep Gerbil rostering time - I've asked them to check the spelling tonight, Boily, so you get the right ones tonight Smile
G'night all 🌛

Right spelling. Wrong wave box.

They’re not waving, that’s synchronised yawning.

gosh.. writing that is making me yawn too now. I really must lights off now.

FuzzyPuffling · 25/02/2026 08:07

I really really want a Mexican wave of gerbils. Every day!

Yes I suppose that's what I'm doing, Errol💙
Especially anybody who is feeling down - it's only an online thought from an anonymous username involving ...flying gerbils? but hey, it is what it isSmile

But not every night - sometimes I'm not online last thing at night, but I trust the D&S gerbils to know what to do without me telling them to visit you all, it's their job description after all.

I hope being surrounded by a circle of yawning Sleep Gerbils [nice re-interpretation, Errol!] did the trick for Boily, and I hope some of the several suggested remedies worked, and Magpie feels better this morning.

Still feeling slightly green, but getting there. Thanks @MarieDeGournay
