Important;

Trans mob's plot to smash up the offices of senior politicians - including the Prime Minister and Wes Streeting
A transgender activist group is planning a series of attacks on senior politicians' offices, including the Prime Minister's, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

Militant group Bash Back has said its sights are also set on Wes Streeting - just months after vandalising his constituency office.

The gender warriors said: 'If you think we're done, you've got another thing coming.
'MP or PM, you've seen us once, we'll see you again.'

The group's conspiracy was uncovered by this newspaper after it urged members to form 'cells' and plot criminal damage offences against high-profile targets.

A list of other potential marks include the Free Speech Union (FSU) and feminist organisation Sex Matters.

Last night, we notified the Metropolitan Police and the parliamentary security services of our findings.

FSU founder Lord Young commissioned an independent security briefing about the group, which is calling for 'total transgender liberation'.

Militant group Bash Back has said its sights are also set on Wes Streeting - just months after vandalising his constituency office

The report, obtained by The Mail on Sunday, suggests British intelligence is monitoring the trans activist cells....

In a pamphlet obtained by this newspaper, Bash Back claims to target 'organisations that promote transphobic rhetoric - from banning hormones and puberty blockers, to confining us to or defining us out of categories of woman and man, to promoting conversion therapy and facilitating hideous harassment campaigns'.

It says they 'should come to expect us', adding: 'All of our targets have blood on their hands. We refuse to let them wash it off in peace.'

Bash Back's first public attack was on Mr Streeting's Ilford North constituency office in July, when it painted 'child killer' and smashed windows months after puberty blockers were banned for children on the advice of medical experts and the Cass Review of gender identity services.

Since then, the group has formulated an action guide - seen by this newspaper - for sympathisers to carry out similar attacks.

The document details how to avoid police detection as they plot criminal damage and steal equipment while filming their actions.

A security briefing on the group - also seen by The Mail on Sunday - reveals it has gone to extensive lengths to hide its identity, including removing internal metadata from public documents and using ultra-secure email systems.

The security memo says: 'Given the first attack was on the office of a HM Gov minister, almost certainly the group responsible will be investigated by security services.'

Activists engaged in criminal activity could be among the near 3,000 profiles following Bash Back across social media platforms, the security document adds.

Maya Forstater, the chief executive of Sex Matters - also included in the list of offices that are potential targets - said: 'After years in which police forces rolled out the red carpet for trans lobby groups and harassed women's rights campaigners, it's no wonder that Bash Back seems to believe it can cause criminal damage with impunity.'

A government spokesman said: 'Threats, harassment, and vandalism are not only cowardly, they're criminal and we will pursue anyone who targets politicians and their staff in this way, with the full force of the law.

'The rhetoric from this group is dangerous and only seeks to distract from our work to improve the lives of trans people.'

Many years after Trans groups started using political violence to silence women it seems the Police are actually investigating when male politician's property is under threat. Figures.

Supporting Violence and silencing women was always the main aim of trans stuff. The truth is coming out.

Mumsnet has been monitoring this group for a while.Previous threads

Found him on LinkedIn - born Charlie, changed his name to Autumn within the past four years. Obsessed with Palestine and trans, graduated July last year from a Cybersecurity degree.

Graeme must be so proud of the use to which Charlie/Autumn has put his/her/their degree, mustn’t he?

Just out of interest, what sound do hard drives make when they are being wiped?

The modern solid-state ones are silent, you issue the built-in secure erase command and they are finished in seconds.

The older spinning type need a tool called Darik's Boot And Nuke and take a long time to finish, which increases in proportion to capacity. They make a whirring sound because of the platters spinning, sometimes a faint thud as the drive heads change position.

Why yes, part of my job is to wipe all the data off instrument PCs before they scrapped.

One assumes that Autumn has passed sufficient modules to be laying about the thing with a sledgehammer by now. It's the only way to be sure but given just how feckin lamentable the BB opsec has been so far, maybe our proud they/she is enjoying the hum & click of a factory reset. 😂

HildegardP · 08/01/2026 22:54

@selffellatingouroborosofhate True though anyone this slack is almost guaranteed to have more than a solitary incriminating HD. Doing a secure erase at this point is tantamount to toddling into a cop shop & reporting oneself for perverting the course of justice, obstruction of justice, & tampering with evidence.

HildegardP · 08/01/2026 22:58

@ProfessorBinturong The Army used to come to a County Show near here & did a nice line in running over people's old devices with an armoured personnel carrier. Very effective & no effort required.

Hitting computers isn't actually very good at destroying the data on them. A decent forensic lab can take the platters out of a disk and read the data if the drive mechanism has been damaged.

@selffellatingouroborosofhate Never stop until all you have is a bag of nice wee pieces. Nothing wrong with a spot of overkill.

Their problem is that they aren't mums, and have never mastered the art of "accidentally" smashing DD's Frozen DVD into a million tiny pieces.

But the problem is not hard drives, but IP addresses, ISP logs and possibly a dodgy email with added malware. They must have found a way in, and the best way in is from the inside

They claim to have been "fucking around" with the FSU's site & found an insecure plugin to exploit. Breadcrumbs may have been left.

Perhaps the most astonishing blunder of all in this truly farcical endeavour, is that a graduate in cyber security has shown a total lack of knowledge of the legal consequences of hacking and the disclosure of personal data obtained by the breach. They deserve everything that comes their way.

Not really. IME, academics regards legal and ethical compliance as problems to try to circumvent, not binding rules to follow. Remember the Aston scrape? The teaching reflects the cavalier attitude. It's unlikely that the Computer Misuse Act took up more than two slides in the entire degree course.

I resented Frozen, until I wanted to explain 'lovebombing' to my daughter, and realised its a wonderful lesson in coercive control and abusive relationships.

From the FSU:

'The Free Speech Union has been the victim of a cyber attack by Bash Back, a militant 'direct action' organisation which campaigns for trans rights using openly criminal means.

On Monday, Bash Back announced it had hacked our website and obtained the names of everyone who’s donated to us via our website’s donation portal since January 2024. It then published the names of those who’ve given £50 or more on its website.

This is a serious criminal offence, and we’ve notified the National Cyber Security Centre (a branch of GCHQ) and the police. Separately, our legal team took out an injunction which means the donors’ names were all removed from Bash Back’s website and social media accounts within 36 hours. We’re also applying for a permanent injunction so those names can never be published again by anyone; nor can Bash Back publish any other confidential data they might have acquired.

No contact information or financial information appeared on its site and we’re confident that our donors’ financial data is safe. As far as we can tell, the hackers did not find out the names of any of our members, either.

As a precaution, we’ve taken our website offline and won’t put it back online until we’ve carried out a forensic analysis of the breach and satisfied ourselves the site cannot be hacked again. A couple of years ago we hired a cybersecurity company to conduct a security analysis of our site, and they declared it hacker-proof, but that turned out not to be the case.

In the meantime, we’ve set up a temporary membership portal on Stripe so people can still join, and we’ve launched a crowdfunder to help us with the costs of dealing with this attack (those that aren’t covered by our insurance), as well as bringing the perpetrators to justice. Donations will be made directly to Stripe, a secure payment processor, so there’s no chance that the identity of anyone giving to that cause will be at risk. You can donate to that crowdfunder here.

On learning of the attack, our Director Lord Young immediately emailed everyone whose names were published to explain the situation, and we’ve been overwhelmed by how supportive they’ve been.

Bash Back is an avowedly criminal organisation which has taken credit for vandalising the constituency office of Wes Streeting – when it painted “child killer” and smashed windows after he banned puberty blockers – as well as daubing the office of the Equality and Human Rights Commission with graffiti and disrupting a feminist conference in Brighton. We assume the reason we were targeted is that we’ve defended thousands of gender-critical feminists who’ve got into trouble for expressing their belief in the biological reality of sex.

Despite the disruption, the FSU’s 25-strong staff will continue to work round the clock defending the right of our 42,500 members to lawful free speech. Any members requiring help while our site is down should email us at [email protected]. (Requests for help only, please.)

Once again, if anyone would like to donate to our crisis crowdfunder, the secure link is ....'

My bold.

I physically remove the hard disk drive from my old computers before scrapping them - it's not difficult.

Well they're at the 'found out' stage of FAFO now, aren't they?

Not really. IME, academics regards legal and ethical compliance as problems to try to circumvent, not binding rules to follow. Remember the Aston scrape?

Not always, not in my experience anyway. Although I suspect "ethics" depends on your point of view - those of a trans rights/Palestine persuasion are, I suspect, more prone to believing that ends justify means.

Autumn’s LinkedIn suggests that Autumnself has 'ethical hacker' skills Hmm And also shows some remarkably manly looking graduation pictures (with keffiyeh, obvs) for someone using female pronouns.
