A protest group has vandalised the headquarters of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) in response to the human rights watchdog’s controversial interim guidance on single-sex spaces. ‘We will not stop until we are free’

A spokesperson for BASH BACK said: “Under the leadership of ‘Baroness’ Falkner, the EHRC has transformed itself into a hate group that wants to shred our rights and liberties.

“We will not accept that. Despite intense legal and political pressure they still intend to push their guidance – segregating trans people out of all single-sex spaces – to government, in a cynical attempt to erase us from public life.

“In 2022, the EHRC endorsed conversion therapy and opposed reform to the Gender Recognition Act, and ‘Baroness’ Falkner’s overt transphobia created a hostile ‘anti-LGBT’ environment which caused many staff to leave, and yet others called ‘the enemy of human rights’.

Just such a blatant example of TRA misogyny ie blaming Baroness Falkner even though all she is doing is her job. ie interpreting how a court ruling (ie a legal requirement) is implemented which is basically her job description.

And yes, I know this has been posted on existing threads, but thought this warranted a FWR thread title to let others know, plus the fact that no main stream media thinks this is worth reporting. This might catch their eye.

Never, if past experience is anything to go by. TRAs aeem to be bullet proof whatever they do or say. Women, otoh, don't get police support whatever is being done to us

Every little helps the public see what The Most Vulnerable group of people are really like. And when they say they are afraid to leave their homes, they really mean they are afraid to leave it without a balaclava and a hammer.

That the government is standing by while the EHRC is targeted like this and their work minimised is deeply shocking. How much are women hated that this is happening? It’s scary

Well not just standing by if the papers are to be beliefed. Saying it is all so difficult. For men. For businesses. For Labour MPs who want to be kind.

Somewhere way back at the end of the queue, they are all standing by whilst women's rights are as usual ignored.

Compare and contrast with the police response to Susan Smith moving away a broken brolly being poked at her. She’s the one being charged with vandalism by the police for “damage” to the brolly, with no charge to the person poking it at her.

They're not really helping their own narrative about being vulnerable, gentle, harmless little ladyfolk who wouldn't hurt a fly and only want to pee, are they?

This particular fragrant bunch have moved far beyond that narrative. They are openly furious and their narrative is that they are now fighting for their lives.

The question of what happens when they get bored of vandalism is, I believe, a serious concern.

On one level you could say that's good they are not giving the TRAs the oxygen of publicity, but as said up thread, looks really, really, biased when they make such a big deal about any woman even making a comment.

Or is that because trans are such special people of course they should be allowed to display their feelings in public in a violent way.

Some transmen might not be able to use a single sex space in some cases - not the male.one because they're not male, and not the female one because they look too convincingly male for the comfort of other female uses.

But that’s their choice. They chose to transition so need to accept any negative consequences.

What is wrong with UK police? They cannot all be TRAs! How the heck are they managed? What bullshit are they fed?
