Husband and five other men charged with sex offences against ex-wife (England)

A husband and five other men have been charged with a string of sexual offences against his ex-wife over a 13-year period.

Philip Young, formerly of Swindon but now living in Enfield, has been charged with 56 sexual offences, including rape and administering a substance with intent to stupefy/overpower to allow sexual activity.

The 49-year-old has also been charged with voyeurism, possession of indecent images of children and possession of extreme images.

Five other men have also been charged with offences against his ex-wife, 48-year-old Joanne Young, who has waived her right to anonymity.

All six men are due to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Mr Young, who police described as a white British national, has been remanded in custody.

In this past year there has been the Pelicot case in France, and a recent thread on FWR about a man in Germany abusing his wife, another in Spain, and now this.

How many households is this going on in?

Police say he broadcast the abuse through a live-streaming app to twisted viewers who sent him virtual coins in return.

He then redeemed the coins on the site for gifts and increased visibility.

Money corrupts.
Men who do this should be put away for the rest of their lives.
They are not fit to re-integrate society.
They are beyond rehabilitation.

Horrific.

Very different story, but there is a point to it. Many years ago when the internet was just a baby, I had a short fling with a man who was a DJ. He had a lot of equipment and, like a dipshit, I didn't realise the tripod with a red light at the top was a camera. I found out when some of the local blokes made it clear they'd seen video of me having sex with him. Luckily, I have no shame and the skin of a rhinoceros.

They are just so fucking weird. Not only the high proportion of men who'll covertly use a woman as a sex accessory while seeming to be in a human relationship with her, but also the even higher proportion who join enterprise with him as participants or observers.

How do so many of them get the idea this is okay? I know the answer's 'patriarchy' but, FFS 😡
