Never heard of Mary Kay Letourneau? I think the boy was only 12. 11 or 12.

ETA: I do believe Brigitte is a woman. Just commenting on the idea that relationships don't start that young. It's still wrong, of course.

Edited

You think the fact that you can refer to one other case (I expect there are a few more) makes it any less bizarre? It is extremely rare for women to groom and start a sexual relationship (by definition abusive) with young boys.

Don’t talk bollocks. That really is not what GC women say.

Can’t you tell male from female people even if the man has long hair and is wearing heels and make up?? I’m astonished if you can’t. Humans are really very good at accurately sexing other humans.

Most trans women present in stereotypically female clothing etc because it’s the only thing they have to signal they think they are female.

Gender non-conforming women look nothing like trans women. They don’t look male either.

Exactly

Last week I saw a person walking towards me some distance away. They were tall and slim outline in a short dress but I instantly clocked them as male because of their walk and musculoskeletal build.

As they got closer I discovered it was a man, about 60 with a long blond ponytail in a short baby doll dress and ankle socks 😂

aintgonnarain · 18/09/2025 20:07

hihelenhi · 18/09/2025 20:02

Why, do you think we must therefore be trans?

I'm as GC as they come, but FGS. You are conspiracy theorists and acting like loons.

"I'm as GC as they come"

🙄

I've been on these boards for many years, as I'm sure others can attest.

100% female. (and yes, any test would easily show this).

100% gender critical.

The eyerolling is fucking ridiculous. Seriously, PLEASE grow up. This is TRA level of nonsense.

I'll take 'things a TRA would say' for $500, Alex.

Yes, the naive who daren’t believe people in power could be corrupt or pedophiles. Will you be back with all those baby photos?

Oh please. Of course I’m not denying that. I’d say that making up crazy conspiracy theories about women being men and fake pregnancies detracts from the actual real issues.

DoubleShotEspresso · 18/09/2025 20:17

Signalbox · 18/09/2025 16:51

Why should any woman have to “prove” their biology

Because they are suing for libel.
This is a choice.

Is it really though? Surely Brigitte has been compelled to launch libel proceedings due to the relentless crap inn the press? How much of thiss its she supposed to put up with? Doesn't look like much of a choice to me.

I know that. But the person I was replying to suggested it was impossible, ie has never happened.

It really isn't. Sorry, but if you are indeed a frequent visitor to these boards and not some plopper, you've seriously lost the fucking plot now, love.

Find some other conspiracy. Me being a bloke or a TRA is, er, barking very much up the wrong tree. As you'd know if you'd bothered following my posts over the years. Jesus Christ.

I disagree with the testing of Brigitte Macron because it's as BATSHIT as testing Michelle Obama would be and is based on some weird misogynistic shit by a US conspiracist. The idea that either of them (or me, for that matter) are men is an insane conspiracy by people who have more paranoia than sense and who lack critical thinking skills. Get another hobby.

localnotail · 18/09/2025 20:22

Firstly, WHY??? Secondly, if she, indeed, was a man - who gives a fuck? I would simply say what Lady Gaga said in a similar situation - "why would I waste my time giving a press release on whether or not I have a penis"?

Seriously. This is bonkers.

Nothereforagoodtime · 18/09/2025 20:24

TryingAgainAgainAgain · 18/09/2025 17:27

Absolutely true in more general terms. But I was thinking in this specific case, with the boy being so very young, there would have been more chance of interventions from the authorities or parents to end it. I believe his parents did try.

Edited

It must be horrifying to be the parent in these scenarios. There have been a couple of threads on here with similar scenarios, thankfully not teachers, but older women and it seems almost impossible to extricate the minor. Having said that, the vast majority of sexual crimes are still committed by men, as we all know.

hihelenhi · 18/09/2025 20:27

ThatBlackCat · 18/09/2025 20:18

Of course it has happened. It's WAY, way less common than with men, but it has absolutely happened, as other posters have indicated with examples above. To suggest it's not even possible because "women would NEVER do this" is, well, fantasy land. She clearly did, and yes, it's well dodgy.

This still doesn't make her a man.

Foolsgold74 · 18/09/2025 20:27

Bideo · 18/09/2025 14:45

Whats the alternative if you don't want men in women's spaces?

All the women at the current Athletics championships have had to prove their sex. And that's good.

The alternative is using your eyes.

aintgonnarain · 18/09/2025 20:35

Foolsgold74 · 18/09/2025 20:27

The alternative is using your eyes.

That's not going to work when male security guards are checking, they don't seem to be able to spot them as easy as us.

Noseyneeps · 18/09/2025 20:40

aintgonnarain · 18/09/2025 19:24

I think it's good she's standing up proudly to take the test and it's a great example for other women not to be embarrassed to do so in the UK so they can enter women's safe spaces.

No; it’s fucking ridiculous. Even if she is a man (which I would bet a months salary that she’s not). It doesn’t actually matter nor is it our business

Sazzasez · 18/09/2025 20:54

DontReinMeIn · 18/09/2025 14:53

So we all need to get what? Blood tests? Carry around proof that we are all women? Is that on a card or on a badge we wear on our jackets?

Its utterly disgusting that we’re now demanding women show proof, just because they’re not conventionally attractive!

But that isn’t what is happening, is it?

There is a simple cheek swab, not in the least invasive, which everyone who wants to compete in the Women’s sports category has to undertake.

Absolutely nothing to do with your looks.
Absolutely everything to do with proving eligibility. Like the weigh-in for boxers.

And if you think that’s ‘intrusive’, wait til you hear about the drug testing sports people have to agree to.

In Macron’s case, she has been allegedly libelled. As truth is a perfect defence to libel, she needs to show it’s not true. I think we can assume if it was true she wouldn’t be pursuing it.

it’s kind of a shame that if she wins, Owens & her ilk will claim Michelle Obama didn’t sue because it was true of her.

A pedophile with a dubious past is running France. That’s a fact. The rest may or may not be a conspiracy but it’s fine to look away if you are happy for pedophiles to be in positions of power (and pushing agendas)

Who is the paedophile with a dubious past who is running France?Confused

JanesLittleGirl · 18/09/2025 21:05

Bugger me! I feel that I have fallen down the weirdest AIBU rabbit hole in the history of Mumsnet

DwarfBeans · 18/09/2025 21:21

GargoylesofBeelzebub · 18/09/2025 19:52

Huh? Brigitte Macron is running France is she? 🤔 I could have sworn it was Emmanuel Macron.

In a relationship where she physically assaults him and he was 14 when the relationship started? And you think she has no power? Of course she’s in control of that relationship and has a hand in things.

dottiehens · 18/09/2025 21:47

Oh just saw a photo of young Macron and Brigitte. 😑 disturbing really.

Do you think there are couples with one “straight” one transgender married and hiding this secret? It is not far fetched and very likely the person transitioned late in life when they already had kids as it was even more difficult in the past.

Andouillette · 18/09/2025 21:54

DwarfBeans · 18/09/2025 19:45

Frankly, I hope they sue the arse off you next.

JustineRobots · 18/09/2025 22:30

DwarfBeans · 18/09/2025 19:29

No, you’ve misunderstood. Brigitte was in her 30s at the time but if it is her older brother then the pedophile was in his 40s ie an even bigger age gap. Either way they are a pedophile and not worth defending. And they even changed that story numerous times.

All this talk about looking ‘feminine’ or not is a distraction. When Brigitte became famous for being the presidents wife, journalists naturally wanted to start writing her bio. They struggled to gather any information, came up against brick walls and were warned off from looking further. That is what it is claimed started the investigation by Poussard.

So the allegation is not just that Brigitte Macron was born male, but that she effectively doesn’t exist at all, but is rather the invented younger sister of an older man?!

I’m not sure the “even bigger age gap than we thought” angle changes much, to be honest. The official version is that they met when he was 15 and she was 39. That’s already pretty damn creepy. I can’t see how it being too males and one being in his forties rather than his thirties makes it any better. If it was the difference between a small gap and a big gap, that’s one thing. But are people really going to say “Okay, 15 and 39, fair enough. But 15 and 45?! THAT’S disgusting!”?

DwarfBeans · 18/09/2025 22:33

Andouillette · 18/09/2025 21:54

Frankly, I hope they sue the arse off you next.

Brigitte Macron is a pedophile and is clearly in control of that relationship. I hope one day you’ll give a damn about real women and children. Where did all these predator apologists come from?

Llamasarellovely · 18/09/2025 17:24

I'm quite normal but I remember being briefly (a week or so) obsessed by the idea the two 1 Direction chaps were in a relationship. It was fascinating how quickly I became convinced by the idea I was somehow "in the know". I actually remember doing rhe same thing with the Graham Hancock pyramids thing 30 years ago.
In both cases the mania passed very quickly but it amused me even as it amazed me.
Never thought men could be women though, tbf.

Ahh fond memories. That was a good week wasn’t it?!

DrBlackbird · 18/09/2025 23:18

The bigger picture here IMO is how some random on social media has got the President of France and his wife to offer up medical proof of her sex. It really is insane and I hate how Insta, TT, FB etc have led to this flourishing of batshit crazy and/or vile people to having a significant voice online influencing others. Like that woman Laura Loomer (?) being able to affect politicians. Or Andrew Tate etc. Just all wrong.
