I'm not sure that this is a great deal. I kinda like the world that I inhabit. Couldn't we just improve it a little? Something like men no longer lifting their right buttock whenever they fart?

Also, I already have a company CC and it's crap with the amount of effort required to reconcile the bill with the expenses form every month.

If Giant Wombat has also been assimilated, I think we can probably rely on her for the record keeping.

I think for the Borg, assimilating the gerbils would be up there with assimilating species 8472 or poor doomed Icheb, they'll think they've done so well, and then realise just exactly what it is that makes the gerbils distinct when its too late to retreat. Soon the cubes will be full of sweet-natured, chaotic, impulsive robots in tutus unable (or unwilling) to carry out any maintenance tasks without capybara supervision.

Ahhhh, but there's no bill. You can spend on it to your hearts content, however you can only buy what the collective want!

So you should be fine buying Tunnocks and gin.

I'm pretty sure they can't assimilate a person with no body, so Wombat is safe, though by providing them with such a tempting target she'll help the quokkas keep safe until the gerbil distinctiveness has done its job.

Although since the Bluestocking seems to be a discrete collective, we probably stand a fair chance of ending up in charge of the whole Borg anyway - they couldn't possibly hope to stand up to a bunch of pissed off women of a certain age!

The gerbils have a deep clean of the Bluestocking kitchen scheduled in for tomorrow so they are wrapping up their borg extravaganza with a dance routine and fireworks.
