We think we’ve found out who the bed-peeing culprit is - we’ve got ds3’s girlfriend’s dog staying with us for the week (he is their dog, but lives with her most of the time). Apparently he’s peed on ds3’s bed too. So we are keeping the dogs all downstairs, and our bedroom door shut - sadly too late to prevent a second bed peeing incident yesterday. Dh ended up having to buy a new mattress topper and protector.

Bit of a relief to find out it was the dog though.

With a shoe collection like that I assume there'd be a cast iron pre-nup to make sure you retain custody though, so it's probably not worth it 🤔

I can honestly say I have never in my life owned a pair of shoes that are in any of these styles or patterns or colours etc.

But then as I've never owned a pair of high heeled shoes that's not difficult.

I have owned dms though. I still have my last pair of rigger boots from work which are a wonderful pair of steel toecapped ones.

I like your new shoes, Banned. I like the look of some of your 'heritage collection', esp the zebra and the flowery ones, but I couldn't imagine wearing them, I've never worn a high heel in my life.

Although I have quite a few pairs of shoes - nothing obsessive, just quite a few - I find I just keep wearing the same two pairs all the time, so technically I could get rid of al the others!

Their “son” is called Wilfrid. Apparently “he” is trans. Which is impossible because gender dysphoria is an adult condition according to the DSM V.

Re. shoes. I've never been a fan of animal prints but those burgundy heels are lovely.

At the moment I'm schlepping round in a fugly pair of Sketchers. Comfy and easy to put on and take off.
