I'm with Rosie, I'm getting flashbacks to the time a distinguished archaeologist visited the underlings who were living in his ancestral cottage while they excavated a nearby site and the chief underling, being a show off and a toady, decided to make flambéed bananas for pudding. Very nice but he used far too much fuel (whiskey, not rum, the Irish recipe), leaving his boss conflicted between escaping death and abandoning his property to the fire.
