Been away for a couple of days [supposed to be working on the magnus opus] but found myself watching The Feud on Ch5 while clearing a 4ft ironing pile. Having stood in the playground beside Rupert Penry-Jones and lusted a bit for quite a few years (our kids went to the same school and sometimes his wife, Dervla would do the Friday pick up 😭), am refreshingly pleased to see I am not only one to have gone off the boil in the last ten years.

That aside, I am convinced that the credited script writers are imaginary and that the whole series was written by ChatGTP following a Crime Fiction by Numbers template wherein every single fucking male character was a flawed psycho or narcissist… and all the women were victims until 10mins before the end, after which all the women (now single because the blokes are, like, all dead or in prison) are suddenly empowered and free. Thank fuck for a nailgun, is all I can say.

Apparently my novel in progress is not too bad acc to my tutor, so maybe I best get it finished and speak to Ch5… they need better writers!!

I have 6 pairs by the backdoor ranging from size 4 (DD) to size 14s (DS)… the dogs are regularly seen wandering around the house with a croc or two grasped between panting jaws and hoping, against all hope, that one of their humans will put them on and go outside to play ball 😍

I think Beetle may have more than that all for herself (though I suppose she can wear 3 pairs at a time).
