I'm just going to sit in the corner with a limoncello, and have a little happy cry.

I hope that this ruling draws a line under this issue, but I am worried that the TRAs won't let it rest. But we will carry on fighting.

What baffles me is how the women who support this rubbish can't see how regressive, old-fashioned and toxic the stereotypes they are espousing are. Do they not remember how women have fought long and hard to prove that we don't have to perform femininity, like pink or skirts, wear make up, have long hair, be submissive and do caring roles/jobs - we can have short hair, trousers, watch rugby, be engineers and astronauts, and it doesn't make us any less female. But these campaigners want to send us back to the 1950s or earlier.

Blowing a hooly here today. The honeywagon is attending to next door but one's septic tank, the gas gun in the corner field has been going off and DH forgot various key items when he went into Traffic Town via the supermarket this morning.

Fortunately I am heading into Tiny Town this afternoon and will swing by the supermarket there.
