Went clothes shopping today. Generally hate it as not much fits me as a very small person.

Anyway in next and there was loads and loads of small people clothing.

Next is one of the small number of shops I bother with - especially since m&s made ‘short’ trousers too long instead of just right. I miss Debenhams which used to have quite a few petite options among its franchises.
The last time I went in a next I bought a black velvet jacket which fits beautifully but I don’t know what to wear it with let alone having any occasion to wear it.

M&S now has an “extra short” trouser length. For the pair I looked at earlier this week, all sizes were in stock but extra short had only one or two pairs left, depending on size. That might mean that they are popular, or that they didn’t start with many.

But yes, the clothing business could do with a far greater acknowledgement of "non average" bodies.

Yes, whenever I’ve been in since they changed, the ‘extra short’ seems to only exist in sizes 6 or 18+.

im 5’1”, that’s short but really not ‘extra short’ in the height distribution of U.K. women.

No, they need to be shorter all over. Poor application on their side.

The ones I ordered haven’t arrived yet so I can’t comment on whether they will still reach up to my bustline.
