Late to the party this time. If anyone needs someone to take one off their hands, I'm ready!

I've drawn a complete blank on South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. I can't find any policies or single sex declaration on its website or on WhatDoTheyKnow or The way back machine when I found a search result that led to a blank page.

I'll come back and have another go a bit later but if anyone wants to have a look to make sure I'm not missing something - please fill your boots!

Bollocks! Can’t believe I missed that- was searching and searching but came up empty handed. I’ll crack on with it now. Many thanks

Don’t beat yourself up - this stuff is hard to find!

One of the things I found previously was that some trusts are community services - so don’t have residential/ward accommodation. Might that be the case for this one?

Brilliant work vipers!

Combined with the letters from NHS wims on another thread it makes for another cracking article in The Telegraph:

Very motivating to keep going!

No, I just went word blind and missed the FOI response. Thanks to @umbel for sharing the link.

Serious point though, that this info is so difficult to find shows the (I think) deliberate obfuscation of the NHS Trusts. Not this case of course as the information is hidden/not publicly available other than by FOI, but some of the others I've done, I've had to work through all the suggested search terms before unearthing something - even though I like to think that I know the topic / what I'm looking for and regularly need to research technical topics for my work!

Putting my inability to get off MN to good use 🤣

I have done quite a few trusts now and they do seem to vary a lot. Some seem to be very reticent and publish next to nothing. My most recent trust, Nottinghamshire Healthcare had a huge amount on their website even including copies of FOIs that it had responded to.

Faffertea · 23/04/2025 17:03

University Hospitals Derby and Burton has been submitted.

Where next?

Thank you!

Is there anyone on here who has claimed multiple trusts who would like to offload some? @Rosebud21 maybe? Anyone else? The more we share them around the faster they get done, so no shame in offloading some!

umbel · 23/04/2025 17:12

@thenoisiesttermagant You could do Black Country Healthcare NHS FT for me? I'm busier than expected this week and struggling to find the time.

@Faffertea if you'd like another, I could gift you University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust?

If not, just let me know and I'll squeeze them in, I just don't want to hold the process up!

Faffertea · 23/04/2025 17:13

@umbel
i should have some time late this week so if you haven’t had chance by then I can take it .

Cantunseeit · 23/04/2025 17:16

I've submitted South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, thanks again @umbel for unearthing the crucial FOI response

I just wanted to applaud everyone on this thread. I'm not the thread police, I know but this is such impressive work.

Thank you. It’s nice to hear that people appreciate it… it’s a bit boring (and upsetting) to read all this stuff so it’s nice to get feedback to keep us going. Reminds us what’s it’s all about 😊

Yes, you’re right, I was forgetting that the first couple I did were as you describe- brazen about single gender provision (and transparent about FOI responses etc). I’ve just had a run of the secretive type which, IMO, are much worse. Specially when their public facing materials promise single sex provision whilst hiding policies that make that promise impossible to keep

teawamutu · 23/04/2025 20:30

Confirming these two both done:
Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust

teawamutu · 23/04/2025 20:47

And Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust, in the sense that I couldn't find anything beyond the standard Same Sex Accommodation page. Don't believe for a minute it's actually SS, of course.

@KnottyAuty it’s not boring IMO, it’s proper grassroots feminism

Black County Healthcare NHS FT it is. Will crack on first thing tomorrow. Good reason not to do the gardening I'd planned (but don't really want to do), so thank you @umbel 😁

I might get started tonight if my DD who is being very annoying energetic with endless demands ever goes to sleep.

teawamutu · 23/04/2025 21:15

The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital also done. And as shite as all the others.

What region's next, Knotty? 😅
