I think we trust each other enough to share phone numbers for the purpose of the WA chat. None of us has abused it yet!
We didn't start it up until we'd been in the Bluestocking for many threads and it became more apparent some of us wanted to talk about real life matters. And share real photos. It's very supportive.

It felt quite exciting and strange unmasking ourselves.

The other delight for me is that we live quite different lives, but still have something together.

Only because, if she is, then you might know that she’s okay. And I don’t need to know anything else, of course, and don’t wish to pry but I do notice her absence and have the odd wondering worry.

And maybe she just comes and goes in any case, but I haven't been in the Blue Stocking long enough to know that.

I think I spotted a post from Boily on another thread today, and was glad to see it.
I remember being concerned about her when there was a long absence from the Stocking a while ago, but all was well, so I'm assuming she's just beetling about elsewhere.

She had been in TwiX recently. I sometimes get overwhelmed with my WRN group and mute notifications for a week or so, so maybe she needs a break.

Yes I think that's the one I saw too... It's good that you spotted the date, I don't think there's anything negative about it.

..I mean I don't think there's anything wrong with posting it. Sorry for being unclear using 'negative' - I sometimes have problems with words and the wrong ones pop up. It often takes me a long time to write and check a post if it's a bit long or thoughtful, making sure I haven't used the wrong word😒

My hound has the occasional moment of inappropriateness. And I do feel hurt by his lack of consideration and uncalled for nonsense. I do keep forgiving him though, very swiftly, and we all go back to normal. He was out of order earlier today. Your post has reminded me. He is currently curled up, sleeping like an innocent furry bundle on the sofa, and I am glaring at him across the room with squinty eyes remembering the incident. He is oblivious. And now I have gone back to the cupboard for more bloody chocolate to soothe the irritation….

I have a strict policy of not hitting on fellow-Stockingers, even though you are all very lovely😊but I might make an exception in this case😍
