Gosh @inkymoose you are, apart from being moosy, something of a night owl.

(They’re not really antlers; the owl brought a sitting shelf.)

Thought this was sweet, but I've just opened up the whole image & Inky seems to have 6 legs! Is she turning into a beetle?

Do many female doctors specialise in men's health, compared with the other way round? (Not a rhetorical Q)

I don't know. I'm not sure there is a specialism for men's health is there? Things that can go wrong include all the systems, so an endocrine specialist, a neurologist, psychologist/psychiatrist, urologist, radiologist, cardiologist, heart surgeon etc are all both sexes, whereas women need midwives, obstetricians, gynaecologists, specialisms for women, and not for men. There are plenty of male gynaecologists and obstetricians and a few male midwives, but I don't know how many female medics specialising in, for example, male sexual health.

All the best to the Banned family.💝

@ifIwerenotanandroid

They are Inky’s wings sprouting because of her night owlishness.

Missed the earlier posted reply ... haven't been reading the threads today as grandchildren duties have prevailed. Also, now the grandchildren are settled the website isn't working properly 🙄

Boiledbeetle · 21/02/2025 22:14

I just found the unopened (now open) misplaced tub of Christmas Heroes

Anyone want one?

<Smacks hands going for the Wispas away>

What was that you want a Dairy milk caramel? Certainly. What, you want all of the caramels? I'll get you a bag.

I am here for the dinky deckers (if there are any left).

I shouldn't have early nights. They just lead to waking up at 3am and 4am and 5 am and then sleeping until much later. So now I'm grumpy.

I may do 30 minutes booknooking to soothe me.

FuzzyPuffling · 22/02/2025 12:33

I'll happily have all the caramels, thank you very much.

Smile I hope the booknooking worked.

I followed up my own question about booknooks, and yes, they did originate in Japan as I suspected.

I'm really fascinated now! Unlike the miniatures and models I've made hitherto, perspective is key, isn't it? A different ..um..perspective.

I might do a bit of a mock-up in cardboard to see if I have the necessary skill and commitment to do one.
That would mean, however, leapfrogging the waiting list of 'ordinary' models I have yet to attempt, every Christmas and birthday brings a new oneHmm

FuzzyPuffling · 22/02/2025 14:25

I've found a new animal in the bar. She's very cute.

So cute!

I was going to ask what role she will be carrying out in the Bluestocking, but looking at that photo, her only job should be to roll around on the floor looking cute and making everybody go Awwwwww!
I think we might also take turns at shampooing and brushing her lovely fur? it looks very well cared-for in that photoSmile

FuzzyPuffling · 22/02/2025 15:13

I think she might be available as a therapy red panda for those in need of solace.
