Yes, I'm actually Female. So this version of AI wot I'm using will show me with antlers, and also will show MyrtleLion with a mane NO MATTER WHAT

One intelligent feminint pactiful warrul use, it's not much to ask, is it?!

inkymoose · 18/02/2025 23:02

Oh no! Just realised the truth ...

I like arguing with the AI! It makes me feel superior! 😳

Example:
me: Can you do a picture of one person sitting on their own at the banqueting table

AI: oh yes, here is your image, enjoy the art!

me: When I specifically ask for a specific thing thing why can you not just give it to me

AI: I understand your frustration. It seems there was a glitch in generating the images accurately. I can't edit images directly or search the web for new images, which limits my ability to meet specific visual requests exactly as described.

me: What, really???

(me is not getting this conundrum at all)

me: 🤯😬

Have y'all seen that Michael Foran is hosting an online Q&A with Naomi Cunningham?
Home | Substack

I sort-of feel like participating but I know I'd only lower the tone by wanting to as questions like:
'Can I have the name of your hairdresser and your tailor please?'
'Do you know how lucky you are to be able to wear your hair like that without the fringe curling up at the sides? - asking for a friend'
'Can you confirm or deny that you justify refusing to represent a certain cartoon rodent by invoking "De Minnie Mouse non curat lex"?'
Grin

So I'd best leave it to the sensible people to ask the admirable NC sensible questions worthy of her standing and achievements.
I bet she'd laugh at the Minnie Mouse one, thoughSmile
Maybe I should © it!

Britinme · 19/02/2025 12:48

It made me laugh anyway!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 19/02/2025 12:50

Good (checks clock) afternoon everyone!

Prompted by another thread, I have just emailed IPSO to complain about press stories naming women as rapists, when it is the lovely and fragrant trans women community committing this crime with their penii. I doubt it will do any good.

Had to look it up. The law does not concern itself with trifles, eh? Perhaps it should.

Is it in a Wilkie Collins book where the hero gets some information from an old lady while out walking, & he says in his narration, 'I handed the old woman a trifle'? He meant a few pennies, I guess. But I love the mental image of him walking about the place carrying trifles in case he should need to barter them for some info.

I know what you mean about the hair. I sometimes look at someone in the paper or on TV & laugh ruefully to myself, thinking, 'Yeah, your hair does what mine does: flicks up on one side & turns under on the other. Annoying, isn't it?'.

You're free to try.

Certainly is, android!
I suppose a hair-straightener could be deployed, but I think they look like cruelty to hair😨not to mention too much trouble.

People with straight hair have a distinct advantage when it comes to fringes.

I realise I'm free to try out AI's version of Judy Chicago's Dinner Party but you are all so much better at it than I am -
oh damn, there's no 'fluttering eyelashes' emojiGrin

ErrolTheDragon · 19/02/2025 13:42

I've got straight hair, but last time I had it cut after vaguely indicating 'shoulder length', for the first time ever the (new) stylist went for the very top of my rather sloping shoulders rather than nearer the bottom. She then blow dried it so it looked something like a long bobHmm but of course thereafter the ends persistently decided they wanted to curl outwards which looked ridiculous.

Britinme · 19/02/2025 14:09

@ErrolTheDragon I highly recommend a round brush hairdryer. I let my hair get almost dry and then take less than five minutes with one of those to get it turning under neatly (though I don't have a fringe).

Roaring success, I'd say.

Unless you can do better, Marie.

I tried a triangle but it turned everyone into a grey-haired woman or a man. This is not a bad effort.
