Don't mind the gerbils, hamster, capybaras, quokkas and other assorted rodents. They're all female, all staff and very accommodating...

I'm sure there's something in it for the cat. They never do anything that doesn't advance a situation in their favour.

If you got it out the tub marked baking soda in my cupboard I suggest you go lie down. For a long time. Drink plenty of water and don't listen to rave music. You'll be fine by Tuesday.

The gardening board is wonderful: so many knowledgable women. I once asked if anyone knew a certain National Trust property & could identify a couple of plants I'd just seen there. Lo & behold, someone was about to go to a jazz evening there, & everyone rallied round & identified my plants & she confirmed it when she visited. I mean, that's service!

Beware though, if you ask for plant i.d. They are fierce about giving ALL the info including measurements & sharp, comprehensive photos. I've been rebuked there more than once.
