Ooer, that came out all big! No idea why.

I can hear some tu-whooing outside , with an occasional tu-whit - It's been a while since I've heard the tawnies around here.

Despite it now being officially Christmas, the drinking of Malbec on two nights has taken its toll. I don't get hangovers (this is actually a problem because it means I never learned, "ooh, stop glasses or I'll feel terrible tomorrow"). But I do feel quite tired today and the prospect of drinking again soon is not something I relish. I probably won't have anything until Thursday when I'm meeting a friend for Christmassy drinks.

I'm not sure what my Christmassy name would be. Maybe I should put down my trumpet and become MyrtlesHarp for all the angels?

It's Advent for me, not Christmas for a few weeks yet. ( I realise I am in a tiny minority).

Advent here too. But in Ireland if we're doing religious food restrictions we tend to go off the booze for November, and now it's December. So I have had a small glass of (diluted) Amontillado, and a splash of Chenin blanc in a glass of water. Jolly nice too.

We have a lone to-whoo-er here. Poor thing has been trying (and apparently failing) to find a mate all year.

We don't even do advent.
We do, shit, how did we get this far into December, I suppose we need to send some cards.

We ought to have Xmas quiz all about this pub,. It would have to be real time limited so nobody can cheat, we would need a quiz master, an an attendance time and date

Sounds a bit complicated though…..

How can you have a quiz about a pub which has only one rule and loose links to reality?

Well i would be giving things away i guess if i said but there are lots of rooms installation, and posters that the master could develop a quiz about.

I have discovered a way to edit the instructions using the "prompt template" (opens via link, you edit it, and then close it, and then press "generate") but it is far from infallible and I don't really understand how the prompt template works.

The first image shows a prompt template, the second image is what it gave me, the third image is when I modified the prompt to add tunnocks tea cakes with silver and red [foil wrapping]. But with that, I didn't get the gerbil waiter I wanted ...

It's delightful @inkymoose! I love the beetle. Has it learned you like beetles or was that in the prompt?

I like the idea of it learning things. Not the case, as far as I can tell. I asked for a magpie chatting with beetle, and a waiter gerbil bringing a large tray of tunnocks tea cakes - but although it has drawn tunnocks tea cakes many times before, it often just gives some sort of generic tea cakey thing, and it leaves out certain essentials (which is why I only gave it three characters to draw for this image). Also it does weird stuff that I don't like, distorted faces, monstrous creatures, genetic alterations, tropical birds instead of magpies, penguins instead of puffins etc etc
