BTW I never knew I was such a sucker for unbearably cute tweeness until I came to the Bluestocking and met all the little gerbil-werbils and quokka-wokkas etc.
We didn't have Beatrix Potter etc when I was a child - Queen Maeve and Cuchulainn and fairies, but no talking animals wearing clothes - so I think I have a bad case of late-onset zoonotic* tweeness

You will! The thing I liked most about sausage-gate yesterday was that it's a perfect example of bathos, & when learning about bathos, litotes, hyperbole & all the rest, it was hard to think of one. But we can discuss this in The Corner. Laters!
