As ever, the gerbils are yours to command...

I think Steve's a herring gull. Or, not to assume Steve's gender, a himming gull. Possibly even a they/themming gull.

WitchyWitcherson · 25/07/2024 20:59

There's technically no such thing as a seagull.

(Am I a SERF now, for denying Steve's existence?)

lcakethereforeIam · 25/07/2024 21:01

A SERFO(rnithologist?)

You are correct. The technical term is 'shite hawk'.

Immortalised in choclate.

That is truly a work of absolute wonder It's sooo.. Well... It's .... You see..... I'm sorry there just aren't the words to describe that! It will sell for millions!! Assuming @Steventheseagull doesn't nick it first!

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/07/2024 19:58

Some ideas for Boily's birthday cake? (Cakes have Tunnocks baked into them, obvs.)

I'll take any, although the top left is a bit lacking on the actual cake front! Don't worry you've got time yet!

Isn't 'seagull' a derogatory expression for a management consultant? Somebody who flies in, makes a load of noise, shits all over everything, steals everything they can get their claws on and then flies off again.

I'd never heard seagulls used in that way but it totally works!

Boiledbeetle · 25/07/2024 21:14

Not the AIs best work, but the only one out of 12 that it spelt right!

So you have never heard a senior management briefing that started "A team of seagulls from Accenture will be joining us on Monday for four weeks. Please extend them every courtesy but make sure that they don't get sight of of anything that could be regarded as USP".

No. But I wish I had 😂

JanesLittleGirl · 25/07/2024 21:42

Apropos of absolutely nothing, I have been sharing my dining table with a woman from Cheltenham who is the lead architect on a conversion of a redundant office block to housing. The general conversation has been fascinating but we drifted onto the topic of this thread. My dining companion graduated in the '70s and when I mentioned Aston University, her reaction was "Oh, I thought that they awarded degrees in hitting hot lumps of metal with a hammer".

Maybe AU should have stuck with their traditional specialities.

I'll shred it like Banksy. It'll be messy, though.

are those black things in the top right had picture gerbil droppings?

not quaite naice if so

TWETMIRF · 30/07/2024 19:56

I think they are, yes.

I have been at Guide camp, all our girls are female so no penises to worry about luckily. Hopefully we will never have a bepenised 'girl' wanting to join as our rules say we need to ask them where they'd like to sleep and the actual girls don't get a say. We're also not allowed to tell any parents so no informed consent, yay for inclusively!

I'll be honest I've been getting shitfaced in the pub in between getting stuck in the swimming pool, hearding goats and quokkas and playing at pirates.

She's been very busy. I suspect gerbils would be welcome at the Bluestocking. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a tiny, wee bar just for them.

Apparently we need a tiny poo bar for them.💩I didn't ask the AI for droppings, just ice creams, cocktails & sun umbrellas. And this technology is going to take over the world?

TWETMIRF · 31/07/2024 08:31

Well if you fail to provide single sex species toilets then you have to expect shit all over the floor.

lcakethereforeIam · 31/07/2024 10:09

Well there's already goat, quokka and seagull poop everywhere, I doubt a bit of gerbil poo will make much difference.

Boiledbeetle · 31/07/2024 10:54

Do you think we could have a whip round for a cleaner?

lcakethereforeIam · 31/07/2024 11:07

A roomba?
