A timely update, thanks for the reminder Flowers

Thank you. I feel so angry that people are forced into having these extraordinarily expensive court cases.
That is a long list. I thought these problems at work might be getting better, but it seems anything but.

There's also the woman taking the lib dems to tribunal - there was a thread about it today. She's using the name Amelia Sparrow (I think a pseudonym because the crowdfunded says she's staying anonymous for health reasons for now.)

UtopiaPlanitia · 01/07/2024 23:02

Thanks for the list OP. I’ve contributed to a few of those already but it’s very handy to have a list to refer to if I have some dosh left over at the end of this month 👍👍

Thread discussing the new Amelia Sparrow case.

I really hope women understand what the LibDems stand for if they're considering voting for them.

I just saw her case mentioned and looked it up. You are right to point people towards this case as I way of understanding what the Liberal Democrats really stand for before voting for them.

There's another Lib Dem one - Natalie Bird. This case will be at RCJ in August. She was suspended for wearing an AHF t shirt...

GrumpyPanda · 02/07/2024 12:01

Wow so much going on! Anyone internationally inclined, there's also the Erlangen/Bavaria women's gym owner who's being sued for not admitting a male customer even though he'd offered to only use the open-plan shower dressed in swimming trunks. A group called Frauenheldinnen has all the info.

19 to 26 August apparently.

Can't link to crowdfund obviously but easy to find on Google, with recent updates on progress.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 02/07/2024 12:21

If she wins this it would potentially make the position of GC women in other parties like Greens and Labour much stronger.

anyolddinosaur · 02/07/2024 20:08

Although it's a long list they are mostly historic cases. I suspect the number of wins have been noted by Human resource departments.

Useful to have this, thanks.

Fenlandia · 14/07/2024 18:14

Thank you OP, so glad someone can keep track of them all. These crowdfunding sites should pay referral fees to FWR users!

anyolddinosaur · 15/07/2024 09:03

Ursula Doyle, who has been hounded out of her job in publishing has met her initial target and now has a stretch target. These cases usually run for months so will be adding to the list at the end of the month.
