I'd say there were plenty of other failings to note from the SNP, such as infrastructure, schools, health, etc.

But there is no doubt that their dogged insistence that Isla Bryson is a woman has contributed to their downfall.

I got a flier from them today, listing 100 ways they've improved life in Scotland, policies and initiatives etc.

Not a single one is about 'LGBTQIA+' stuff.

Stable, horse, door, ...

Oh that cheered me up for several reasons.

What a strange world we're in. I'm a die hard Unionist but Wings work in exposing how rotten the SNP is a joy to read. I've even made a small donation.

Oh and according to the bookies, ironically the only Edinburgh seat the SNP has a chance of winning is Joanna Cherry's.

(It's not my constituency but I hope Labour gets it. It will need former Tories and Lib Dems to change their vote)

Thanks for posting the article Arabella that was very interesting reading.

I can see hints of things going the same way over here in Ireland and the government(s) (in both jurisdictions) making exactly the same mistakes - eventually the voters have enough of it and start to punish the politicians (and unfortunately social attitudes harden and LGB people will suffer because of it).

I really dont think that will happen because anyone paying attention can tell the difference between the entirely reasonable LGB community and the somewhat more deranged claims of the tin foil hat gang.

Of course they didn't include LGBTQIA++++++ they've noticed that most people who know don't see those things as improvements.

Improvements- free scripts; cut council tax; scottish child payment; free buses; childcare; free tuition fees; free personal care; free sanitary products; a&e performance; baby box ... that's the top ten.

It's actually interesting seeing so much of their work listed. Some of it pure spin, naturally, but they have done some good. One could argue they favour shiny policy over boring but necessary work like fixing roads and regular ferry maintenance.

The trouble is I won't vote for a party that says I'm 'probably racist' for wanting to defend women's rights. Just no, thank you. Treat me with contempt and I don't care about your median pay gap percentage. (1.7% for thise that do)

It's the authoritarianism, the refusal to listen, the purity spiralling, the furtiveness, jailing a journalist, framing Salmond, and the embezzlement.

Unhealthy power games.

Indeed. But I couldn't countenance not voting, or spoiling my ballot.

To GTTO is my aim at the moment. I hope that there will be enough pushback from women to make the Labour Party reevaluate their stance. If not, I won't vote for them again, either.

Indeed. The Scottish Labour Leader's response after Cass was the most pitiful of all the reverse ferreting seen then. ' The SNP lied to us! They promised us, that despite was the legislation said, they would protect single sex spaces! They made us vote for it by lying to us.' Is what he said.
To which the interviewer said, ' That's not what I remember you saying at the time of the vote.'

I no longer live in Scotland, but no way could I vote for Scottish Labour after that lying, weak reply. What an utter failure of integrity and honesty.
