Oh dear.

SinnerBoy · 24/03/2024 13:03

Oh dear indeed.

Ineedamanicure · 24/03/2024 13:05

This woman is about to be elevated into a position where she will actually world some authority. Terrifying.

WaterWeasel · 24/03/2024 13:07

So much for women = adult females which I think was Starmer's last take. Utter crap the lot of it.

fedupandstuck · 24/03/2024 13:09

So patronising. I can "get" what she's saying but I simply and wholeheartedly disagree. Transwomen transition (to whatever degree and in whatever way they choose) and remain male, and a subset of men.

HermioneWeasley · 24/03/2024 13:09

So male women as well as female women then. Goodbye women’s rights

WallaceinAnderland · 24/03/2024 13:12

'We have biological women and we have trans women. And they’re both women: one is a biological woman through sex and one is a trans woman who has transitioned.'

The only way that statement makes sense is if the word woman includes male people.

Taking the 'sex' classification out of the word woman means that we don't actually need that word any more because that was it's only purpose. If it no longer only means 'biological woman through sex' then it's obsolete.

What word would she suggest to replace it?

Idiot.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 24/03/2024 13:12

Pure idiocy.

Especially when the majority of men who claim to be women don't actually 'transition' at all.

What is the magic sweet spot where these men have supposedly transitioned then? Lipstick, long hair or getting their penis cut off?

The general public don't buy it either. They know men are no type of women.

WallaceinAnderland · 24/03/2024 13:13

People are genuinely getting pissed off with this now.

Do they think we are so stupid we will believe males and females are the same thing?

Do they hear themselves?

UltraLiteLife · 24/03/2024 13:16

I wonder if the general public is more aligned with this attitude. (It's a 2min+ clip and interesting.)

BASED. Juiian Erosa calls out cheating men in his post fight interview

"I don't like cheaters. ... I wanted to encourage [Lia Thomas] to transition from women's swimming into women's MMA, and then I'll transition into become a woman and beat that dude's ass."

And, in other news, I see Katie Sheldon was displaced from a darts title that should have been hers.

Blanketsburg · 24/03/2024 13:17

As with anyone who repeats some version of this statement, it means one of two things.

She either believes it, which means she is stupid; or she doesn't believe it, but is saying it anyway, which means she is a liar. Neither is a good quality in positions of power.

Dangerous too

The way many Labour MPs have been behaving/statements they have been making I genuinely think this is down to either they do not want to be in power (because they know they are inheriting an absolute shitshow) or an awful lot of Labour MPs have had donations from TRAs/TRA corporations.

This Angela Raynor, keeping the green benches warm for Madigan.

I notice that trans-identifying men stand at the women's oche as well. This immediately gives someone taller, and with a longer reach, in addition to the other evolutionary advantages.

Well done Katie.

We all know who the real winner is.

Froodwithatowel · 24/03/2024 13:30

Most of the public think you're insane, dear.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 24/03/2024 13:33

C&P my response on another thread

bottom line Labour still think some men are women and the effect of that is that single sex spaces will be screwed under Labour without even getting into how it skews census data, programmes to support and encourage women, tje recognition of issues that affect women more than men, medical research

they are fucking clowns!!

looks like my ballot paper is going to be “none of the above!”

I've long been of the opinion that Labour are sh1t-scared of getting into power.

However, the chances of them not are practically nil (I think the best we can hope for is a coalition, though God alone knows who with)

I suspect they're pushing this trans @&$! because they want a nice big pay check from someone with an interest in trans-identity so they're keeping them sweet when for they are out in the election that follows.

I think that there are good, honest politicians in all parties - but they have to grow some ovaries and refuse to follow the TRA line on this no matter what their party leaders might say.

This is the safety of women and children we're talking about here - it shouldn't be messed with.

Goodbye the word "woman".

I also find it interesting that politicians of all views now tend to be career politicians and have never had a proper job. Rather than starting in a regular job then either through say their union work or after a successful career then decide to become a politician.

They also surround themselves with other career politicians or would be career politicians. Because of this the issues athat they think are important and the views they adopt are the ones that politically active people shout the loudest about rather than what ordinary voters actually want.

Which in turn makes them dismissive of and alienate ordinary voters - for example Gordon Brown and Gillian Duffy or Emily Thornberry's sneering post of the St George's flag and white van.

lonelywater · 24/03/2024 13:43

Where do these people get off on saying "most of the public agree with xyz?"
do they ever provide proof for this? No. I had thought labour were showing tentative signs of rejoining planet earth, but apparently not. Off they fuck then.

F**k off Angela, you're chatting shite.

I noted that the journalist said Rayner barely shuts up & talks over people so I guess listening to ppl isn’t one of her skills…..

Yirk · 24/03/2024 13:56

Disappointed in you Angela, I really thought you would have safeguarded biological females, but more BS from labour, looking like this will be the first election in my life when I'm politically homeless and not voting.
