I wonder if Facebook needs to be aware that only recently someone saying this publicly was arrested (after a bit of prodding!) by the police and is due to appear in court on 31 August.

ie it is a breach of UK law - and isn't in fact down to facebook to decide whether or not it is offensive.

So perhaps needs a police report rather than a FB report?

Not sure that the police in NI will respond as earerly as English police have done to reports of crimes committed on line by GC women!

I have reported it to crimestoppers an anonymous reporting mechanism for the police service of Northern Ireland. I doubt they will do anything though. I’ll ask the police officer grind of mine when I see her later

Be fair, misgendering someone causes actual physical pain possibly requiring extensive hospital treatment to repair those injured feelings whereas punching someone in the face just makes them feel a little bit sad for a moment. I think I got this the right way round……..
