ive not read the thread so apologies if this has been mentioned but Jordan Petersons interview with Posie is now up on podcast apps, very excellent.

Is that all he's going to do as way of an apology. Just stick a copy of the words on the end of an old tweet thread?

Makes him look like a child.

IwantToRetire · 04/08/2023 00:33

So in fact he has used the correction to re promote his article?????

ie he hasn't personally apologised.

IwantToRetire · 04/08/2023 00:38

On the occasion of this correction by the i Paper I thought I would see if the Group Actual Gender Critical Left had taken note. Well no obviously, but came across this gem. Just look at the pathetic attempt to smear KJK "by association".

On 11 July KJK retweeted https://twitter.com/dom_lucre/status/1678883411442663429

3 days after that Actual Gender Critical Left has this “discussion”

… A couple of days ago Posie Parker/KJK RTd QAnon, antisemitic filth to her 100,000 followers. H/T Cheryl Seelhoff.

Dom Lucre is a Trump supporting influencer who shot to prominence after Jan 6th. His original tweet claimed that in 2009 the FBI arrested a network of powerful people, including17 Rabbis in New Jersey, and charged them with trafficking human organs, and baby body parts in the United States.

In fact, ONE corrupt CIA informant was sent to prison and there were no "baby body parts." The convicted man arranged kidney transplants for four ailing kidney patients and was caught in a sting.

…. so is that tweet saying the conspiracy theory is debunked, as in it's not a crazy theory but they want us to believe it's actually true?

… It's making fun of people who debunk QAnon conspiracy theories by pointing to allegedly true instances of child trafficking etc. Its one of a series of similar tweet

… She's a full-on far right disinfo peddler now. She's also retweeting the one claiming Biden removed child sex trafficking from DOJ areas of concern and from the website. In fact, it's still on the DOJ website, just in a different place. But there is a long history of disinfo by these sources about sex trafficking and the Dems. I keep wondering how far she has to go to finally get kicked off Wolf's advisory council.

… She's been obsessed with pedophila and trafficking for some time now.

… this is quite confusing and difficult to use as a smoking gun to her supporters because it says debunked so looks like it's saying the story was nonsense.

… I thought the post was clear? She and the SFW account are sharing a debunked antisemitic conspiracy theory as if it is true.

… I am long past the point of thinking anything would make a difference to her supporters.

From https://www.facebook.com/groups/904109420071073/posts/1650379368777404/

(I know its all bananas but shows that far from promoting gender critical left politics they are only interested in policing other women.)

What I love about that, is how she is absolutely relishing rubbing his fucking nose in the shit of his own making.

And, and, using it to warn any other lying fucker that she will soooo go there.

She also makes it quite clear that she doesn't bother with people who she thinks are completely ineffectual and talking bollocks to themselves in their own room.

It's a double whammy. If she's not coming after you, it's because you're actually less than irrelevant.

It's great, isn't it. I thought the lipstick was a nice touch and her chair dance to 'Winner takes it all' at the end. She clearly relished it.

arethereanyleftatall · 03/08/2023 16:53

Good.
I wonder what lies India W will make up on Twitter now that she can't say Nazi's.

Actually, that should read "he can't say" as India is male.

arethereanyleftatall · 04/08/2023 09:53

Good point @SunnieShine - I hate it when I make that mistake just because some bloke has the money to spend on plastic surgery, and can filter a still photo enough to 'pass'.

SunnieShine · 04/08/2023 10:01

@arethereanyleftatall We have all been conditioned to an extent, I don't blame you.

But from now on I WILL NOT be referring to any man as "she"

In a pinch - if bullied/ harassed - I may resort to "they" , or avoid pronouns altogether.

But not "she", not "woman".

Yusay · 04/08/2023 10:03

Know who else says everyone who won’t obey him is a Nazi? Putin 👀

Tinysoxx · 04/08/2023 10:10

Slight derail here. The apology was in italics. At university I was told that the tabloids used to put words/sentences in italics that couldn’t be proven and they couldn’t get sued. Therefore I have never trusted things in italics. However I can’t find anything on google. So maybe it was wrong. Anyone else ever heard of this?

Kendodd · 04/08/2023 10:15

It the risk of being piled on, the fact these events, and the views underpinning them, attract the support and agreement of neonazis really worries me. If push came to shove, honestly, I'd rather stand with trans people than Nazi's. And I'm as gender critical as they come, trans women are absolutely not women and women is not a costume anyone could put on. But, I would welcome trans people with open arms into women's spaces to protect them from Nazi's.

I'm been to Fila in the past (it was great) there were some trans protesters outside (fine) . If events such as this start attracting more and more of the far right, I won't be going again.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 04/08/2023 10:19

Is that one still going? heavens.

This is just an extreme Nazi version of let us into your spaces because we are so vulnerable you need to protect us. In this hypothetical dystopian scenario I still wouldn’t want to share intimate spaces with men I don’t know. Are men less likely to be a risk to women when the Nazis are in town? I suspect most TW would simply revert to presenting themselves as men if the Nazis turned up. No need for them to seek refuge amongst women.

And how would you see that working, since you think that the women are the nazis?

kendodd I know you have been posting on this board for a long time.

Are you worried about the safety aspect or are you worried about the guilt by association?

Do you think though that Nazis are attracted to these events? Can you please tell us which Nazis have come and where and why you say they are 'attracted' to the events?

Do you mean attracted to come and listen, or attracted to provoke Antifa and other extremist protestors who choose to protest the women's events?

Because if you are talking about the Melbourne event, those men came and spent more than half their time down the end of the closed off section interacting with the Victorian Socialist Party and Antifa. THAT was why they were there. They were NOT there to support women!

What other neo-nazis have attended Let Women Speak, or any other women's events? You say you have been to Filia. If Neo-nazis came to provoke the Antifa and the extremist protestors that might turn up to Filia next conference, do you think they were there to attend Filia or to provoke the protestors who they are diametrically opposed to politically? and what do you think any women's event organisers can do other than what they are doing, training women up to be stewards (ridiculous to think this is needed even!!) and having police protection?

*Filia
*Nazis - no apostrophe needed for a plural.
*'the fact these events, and the views underpinning them, attract the support and agreement of neonazis' - that's not a fact, it's bullshit.

HTH.

Helleofabore · 04/08/2023 11:06

Oh. And in Melbourne, those men never once stopped and listened to the women. The women were simply the resources they utilised to get access to the inner area through what must have been lies (I suggest that the son of an acting policeman knew just what to say to get access to that area).

The women attending the events and the women's speeches were completely irrelevant to those Neo-nazis. Those Neo-nazis would no doubt turn up to any outdoor unticketed event that Antifa and the Victorian Socialist Party were present. That was their aim. Never to support the women or the women's messages.
