Feminism: Sex and gender discussions

Hopefully the rest of us won't have to put up with the nipples everywhere but not for breastfeeding brigade anymore now.

Or is it only at the white house that pride needs to show respectful behaviour?

zanahoria · 13/06/2023 20:49

And the Guardian had featured Rose Montoya just a few hours earlier broadcasting self pity

In the weeks leading up to June, Rose Montoya noticed something concerning. Pride is usually a busy time for the influencer, who has over 800,000 TikTok followers and posts videos about trans rights and issues. But this year, she says, fewer brands have reached out

And she added: “I had zero intention of trying to be vulgar or be profane in any way. I was simply living my joy, and my truth, and existing in my body.”

This is the problem isn't it. This stuff has been the gateway to doing whatever you want, whenever you want for so long
Living your joy whilst and your truth whilst dismantling and trampling all over everyone else's boundaries. And some idiots have let them.

It is inevitable that eventually they go too far even for the idiots .

Moomoola · 13/06/2023 21:10

Well said, quick the entitlement of these poor benighted people.

Florissante · 13/06/2023 21:15

Nice. Still, the more people he peaks, the better.

borntobequiet · 13/06/2023 21:16

Very classy. Not.

Faffertea · 13/06/2023 21:39

Who the fuck thinks going topless at the White House is a good idea?

They’ve got so used to being told everything they do and say is stunning and brave they’ve forgotten (or perhaps never knew) what is appropriate behaviour.

Red flags all over the shop….and just seems so very male.

Moomoola · 13/06/2023 21:52

I know! He’s clutching his bosoms in a fondly kind of way. The topless women protesters I’ve seen seem to just rip their tops off, not get in for a grope.
eeewwww

FromEden · 13/06/2023 22:23

"All you’re doing is affirming that I am a woman. All you’re doing is saying that trans women are women because for some reason people like to sexualize women’s bodies and say that they’re inappropriate."

No love, male or female, it's inappropriate to take your top off at an event at the white house. The absolute lack of self awareness and decorum in some people is just astounding. I suppose though, what do we expect from the same people who think it's acceptable to dance provocatively in fetish gear in front of kids?

Helleofabore · 13/06/2023 22:37

I guess when you cannot recognise boundaries generally, why would you recognise the boundaries for behaviour at the White House.

TheDogthatDug · 13/06/2023 22:47

"Existing in my body". Can't exist in anyone else's can you? Don't think we can download a mind yet. Why do they always come out with such asinine comments?

IWillNoLie · 13/06/2023 22:48

This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event at the White House. It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance.

It is certainly reflective of LGBTQI+ events. This is what you are supporting.

IWillNoLie · 13/06/2023 22:49

Florissante · 13/06/2023 21:15

Quite. Shame he stopped at the top half.

Hmm I can't imagine why brands are failing to reach out to trans activists this year. Total mystery.

QuickWash · 13/06/2023 22:57

The tiktok/reel is almost word for word Luke Pollard from yesterday. It is a script.

Datun · 13/06/2023 23:30

It seems to be a thing. That homophobic, violent wanker in New York, was it, jiggling his around. And Willoughby on big brother oiling them and saying I feel nothing. And now this bloke.

I imagine they don't have anywhere like the sensitivity of genuine breasts, and neither do these men understand the relationship that women have with their own breasts. Or what it's like in a sexist environment.

it's all so bloody performative. And then the risible comments as if objections to this are akin to objectifying women!

They do nothing but objectify women.

ArabeIIaScott · 13/06/2023 23:56

Sexually motivated xhibitionism? Surely not.

Datun · 14/06/2023 00:22

Exhibitionism! That's the word! 😄

And it's so aggressive. Women just don't do that.

Still, it's not unknown for men to be delighted with waggling their private parts, is it!

ScrollingLeaves · 14/06/2023 00:24

The President of the United States of America actually said,
“You are the bravest and most inspiring people I’ve ever known.”

Delphinium20 · 14/06/2023 04:19

I seriously just can't. Confused

MrsJamin · 14/06/2023 05:52

Porn-fuelled agp right there, broad as daylight. Biden has no idea does he?

Madamecastafiore · 14/06/2023 06:18
