What are people who shout Trans Rights are Human Rights actually talking about?

I have a Zoom meeting in 4 minutes, otherwise I'd venture more.

Access to women’s spaces.

Forced NPC status and engagement from everyone in their fantasy?

In the UK, trans ppl have the same rights as everyone else plus the protected characteristic of ‘gender reassignment’ which is not really defined … you can claim ‘gender reassignment’ at any stage. No pharma, surgery, GRC required.

This is all in the Equality Act 2010.

When ‘trans rights’ are demanded, it’s because they want gender identity to trump sex in every circumstance.

All of the above but you won't find any TRA who will actually admit it. We never get an answer.

They want us to lie. They want the refusal to lie to be made illegal.

Total and utter capitulation it seems to anything they say or want

They want you to believe they are whatever they happen to be feeling at that time and to suspend your disbelief.

The removal of any social norms or rights and boundaries of women and children.

The requirement for everyone to pander to every male fantasy and fetish with punishment for those who refuse.

Activists want everyone to deny biological reality.

They want access to women, that want to make women fear them. They want to silence women.

As far as I’ve seen so far, it’s to transcend biology, to never have to hear anything they don’t like and for everyone to affirm their fantasies. Oh, and there to be different rules for the Special Glitter People, in the form of whatever it is they want today. But it will all have changed tomorrow so you’d better make sure they’re always the focus of your attention.

Here are the "rights" Nancy Kelley thinks the EHRC is taking away from trans people (not a peep about transmen, of course):

Including trans women on women’s wards in hospitals, and single sex services

A ban on therapy to try to cure gender dysphoria, including for religious groups.

So they basically wish to criminalise people's religion and interfere with religious freedom.

One point I would make here, is that presumably the best thing in theory for the individual is that they could learn to accept the gender-of-their-biology. So we shouldn't stop looking for treatments regardless of whether they have been particularly effective so far. Especially if you mean consenting adults asking for help.

And they want the right to falsify official documents.

They don't "deny biology", they just want to falsify it on their birth certificates.
