Share values in other brands that compete with bud light are up. It's not even that the bud light tank that's the issue now - it's how it seems to be benefiting rivals.

Here’s an update on how Anheuser Busch are trying to deal with the flack of partnering with Dylan. I note they’re still not apologising to customers for hiring a marketing team that looks down their noses at the core Bud Light demographic. They seem to think they can use ads to memory-hole their partnership with Mulvaney 🤷‍♀️

And even if you do compare it to the Beatles, what you are in effect saying is that is a trend which is time limited and will crash and burn when the next thing comes along. It's got a level of superficially to it rather than profound social change like the civil rights revolution.

When I was growing up and the next thing came along, at worst I was left with an awful (on me) buzz cut with fringe and rats tails in a different colour that took ages to grow out.
