Page 4 | Triggernometry - changing sides?

I've just been watching a Mr Menno video from this week. At one point he responds to someone in the chat who says that the Triggernometry hosts have 'let the side down so badly' and have been slating someone - the name sounded like 'Ajah'. I can't find anything about this and wondered if anyone here could shed any light?

I think their position is naive, but I don’t think they were defending paedophiles as such, rather arguing for a therapeutic approach to managing non-offenders rather than punishing them for feelings they didn’t choose and who may be suffering with a host of other mental health conditions.

I think this is worse than naive. It's dangerous. Paedophilia is not a sexual orientation, it's a sexual paraphilia, a fetish. It escalates from pornography to actual child rape and potentially beyond that. They're not being "punished for feelings they didn't choose." They are being punished for harming children.

There are no "non offenders". Only people who haven't escalated to rape yet. And those who haven't been caught.

I don't get the vibe at all that they empathise with trans people and are against terfs. If anything they are becoming more gc and have said so very recently. I can see their eyes being open to this even more in the last few weeks.

ive caught up with this Matt Walsh business and am very surprised by the interpretation that they might be completely changing their views.

I agree. I used to be slightly sympathetic to the treatment rather than condemnation approach. Think I was more naive then.

No. Absolutely not, there have to be hard boundaries in society I think, for the wellbeing of everyone.

I'm not a history person but think the human race has been through this before.

I'm not a fan of the tendancy to demonise or ridicule trans people tbh, even if they have been vindictive. I had been watching the person that keffals went to stay with in Ireland for quite awhile, playing geoguesser and being a cat person, comfy and nice. I think keffals is a fucking train wreck, but also extremely vulnerable in a way.
